Try to beat all heroic dungeons ... Maybe some arena.
Been slowely adding in RAF accounts to take my total accounts past 12. Getting all those toons up to at least 60, and then doing the grind on to 75 after.
In the mean time, I still have my 5 man team at 85 running around and helping the guild mostly.

Continue to play a frost mage as my pvp main and contemplating leveling a DK for both pve and pvp. Have no interest in boxing anymore.
Have cancelled all my accounts, listed the Feral nerfs as the reason.
I plan to play my Ferals on BG weekends, just to cap their honor.
At least until the patch goes through.
Then evaluate if they're fun or not; which will determine whether I renew.
In the meantime, I'm leveling my remaining teams towards 85th.
Am also doing the daily transmutes, to make the most gold possible.
Even if I quit Cataclysm, there's a chance I might try the next expansion even if it is one-boxed to see if it is worth boxing, etc.
I've noticed a pattern of most boxers quitting boxing. I guess blizzard fixed the "problem" of boxers by changing the game so drastically.
bit far anit it?? ok there nert Ferals a bit (maybe over nerf then) but have you played with the changes how do you know there pointless? if they do not nerf them and the class can "single" two shoot players that i have seen at 85 there doing, 5 of them still could be very stong. + there going to be a lot better gear for us to see and ofc epic gems will come in at sometime over cata. its still new and this is the frist Patch since the xpac has been out who the hell knows whats going to happon in 4.1Quote:

My mate leveled an 85 boomkin recently. In his sp green gear we did a few bg's. He tried (in same sp / greens) a kitty spec and was just owning half of the bg.
However I can see that boxing them is a different thing, and that the fun part might be gone with the patch. That doesn't change the fact that they are way to OP atm and the nerfs are well deserved.
My plans for Cata are to let my subs retire while I anxiously await Rift Betas and Rift to go live. I will two box Rift until end game and see what happens from there. If i enjoy it i might start 5 boxing it or might come back to WoW. However, SWtOR might be out by then 8) So if thats as good as it looks like it might be, WoW might be a thing of the past!
I just came back to wow less than six months ago. I started over with RAF (twice thanks to the sale and realizing my old server was way too underpopulated). I started over as alliance because i had never ever played alliance even though i started wow shortly after it launched.
Anyway, since im starting over completely my plans are to get a whole bunch of teams up. For me, a lot of the fun is leveling up teams with different compositions and learning to get them working together in harmony. I only have cataclysm xpac on one acct so far and that is just so my rocket can carry lowbies on the 5th acct to instances for boosting. Thats all cataclysm has brought me so far - the ability to fly in the old world on one acct.
I guess its also brought the joy of getting one shotted by 85s. I was boosting in SM and left cath on my 70 dk tank to see if it was safe to run the lowbie across to the next instance. An 85 feral druid took me to half health with ONE blast of moonfire. I think the health and damage inflation of cata is insane. Whats going to happen in the next xpac? Toons with one million health who can one shot 85s with pyroblast? Its making previous xpacs even more worthless. When bc came out it at least took a few levels to replace your gear. Anyway, rant over.
My plan is to level many teams. I try to stagger them out so theyre a couple levels apart. I also make the groups as different as possible to keep it more interesting. The fact that there are four tank classes to choose from also keeps it interesting since i lead with the tank and their styles are all so different.
Im planning for my next 60+ team to be a holy paladin, three dks, and an enh shaman. I will lead with the healer on that team and see how it goes. Ive never played a holy paladin or enh shaman and thats part of the fun - learning new classes and combinations. Ive also never led with the healer...
I've cancelled my ten accounts because there wasn't enough content.
I saw everything either solo boxing a warrior or leveling up a team, and beat all the new instances on normal with the team, before week four. Then I found myself in a pattern of attempts and repairs, on the same bosses, for heroics. It was boring really fast.
Maybe if there were more zones and instances, maybe if there had been more focus on end game content instead of revamping the old world, maybe if they had added two end zones instead of two new races . . . I don't know. I expected more.
Also, I had just finished Wrath with a process of leveling a team and then farming drops. I found myself right back in the farming mode way too fast. Wrath seemed to have more to do, at 80, before you farmed emblems, points and drops.
Somehow, with Cata, gear equals content. Wrath had this but not as bad. Wrath felt a lot bigger. The overemphasis on gear, especially with dungeon requirements and the asinine ways that the dungeon finder just turns off was a big let down.
Part of my problem is that I have 20 level 80s and no interest in leveling another team. So a lot of the revamped world is no interest to me. I'd rather race change a toon than spend a couple weeks leveling up another one.
I even tried solo boxing, but queue times and idiots reminded me why I boxed. I'd try to tank and get a bad healer, or dps that wouldn't dance around easy to avoid damage. Healers have very fast queue times, but the mana issues and changes to healers really upsets me. I loved healing, and now my healers feel incredibly weak and almost useless. If a pull goes bad the mana runs out and everyone dies. This pattern gets too old too fast. I'd like to have mana to adjust to things going to hell, it's very fun when a group manages to survive a messy pull but now I feel too handicapped to do anything.
All to say, I was very underwhelmed and needed to pursue something more fun. I'm hoping they fix things, but I doubt it because it looks like the year is mapped out with gear as content. Instead of releasing more content, they'll release a dungeon and a bunch of new gear. I'm supposed to run the one new raid for three months to get those rare drops, instead of giving me two or three raids to run for two to three months.
I grew tired of this model in Wrath and Cata seems to be doing more of this with less instances, which makes it too painful.
I think Cata would have been ten times better if the old world revamp had been a content patch, and another team had built an expansion as big as Wrath (or at least had that epic feeling). More instances, more heroics, etc. Doing both at the same time, and my disinterest in leveling alts anymore, seems to have gimped things.
Today I got my first team up to 85. :-)
Haven't tried any cataclysm dungeons yet, so I'm wondering which to start with? Normal mode first and then move on to heroic.
My left hand is useless due to a disability so I'm a clicker since I only play using one hand. So boss fights with a lot of movement are very difficult for me. So if possible please keep this in mind as well if you can recommend any dungeons. Thanks.
I can understand that if you compare Northrend with the cata zones, that the wotlk feels way bigger. But then again, how long do you actually stay in those zones before reaching the cap? Now I wasn't playing when WotLK was released, but as far as I know they only had nax normal up as a raid instance. Whereas now, there are 3 different raids, with a a very flexible lockout, 12 normal and 13 heroic modes. Most of them quite challenging. There are 8 heroic dungeons available, challenging and pretty big. There are 2 very good bg's added (and I yet have to meet a player ingame that doesn't like them).Quote:

Maybe that feeling also has to do with the fact that wrath had a new class (dk)? which is something i guess most players tried, and still feels more new (and probably longer as well) than just a new race?
I basically quit for similar reasons myself. Didn't even buy Cata because I saw this coming a mile away. All the changes look great and everything but I'm still in the same old Elwynn Forest, same old Gadgetzan despite the changes. Everything feels too familiar.Quote:

Really WOW has peaked and is on the downslide. Nothing drastic- WOW's downslide will be like a glacier melting. Yet they have hit their peak imho. Feral puts out way too much bleed damage.
Sixty percent of their current damage is from bleeds.
Mastery is incredibly good, way too good actually.
Berserk, with the 15 (20 glyphed) seconds of fear immunity, has not been an issue for the life of the talent.
In solo play, Priests and Warlocks have consistently been ok against Druids up until their DPS/Bleeds went through the roof.
Similarly, with Powershifting for eight arena seasons, root classes have not had issues with Druids.
Feral Druids have never been highly represented in arena.
There are eight players in the top twenty teams (3's and 5's) across all battlegroups...
Compare that to every other spec except Hunters (all three specs are represented less), and there are substantially more of anything else.
So in the current game, in arena Ferals are not that strong.
Nor have they ever been strong in arena.
Ferals need nerfs to bleeds.
They essentially have 100% up time.
Because of being on target 75-80% of the time, via power shifting from roots.
But having more than half their damage tick constantly - melee dots.
They don't need a nerf to their final talent in their main tree or to a class mechanic that has been part of the class since original beta.
Not shifting out of frost roots...
Results in five dead kitties, very quickly from a single frost mage.
It's pretty easy to test that on live; ran a few BG's where I did not power shift.
Not saying they should be better than every other melee vs a frost mage.
It might even be more that a frost mage is over powered.
But not breaking root, makes the class suck from a fun factor.
As a boxer, the fear thing isn't too bad, as any one-box fearing class is dead fast.. but I don't see the need to nerf Berserk either.
Neither the shifting or the berserk were issues, prior to the DPS/Bleeds going through the roof.
I pay for the game because it is fun.
My favorite class is and always has been the Feral Druid.
They are more than decent to box.
The whole stealth somewhere.
Ravage to destroy any single target.
And then a decent chance to take out anyone, from the burst.
Or the ability to run away from anything, via Power Shifting and faster movement.
To attack again from stealth...
Well, a single rooting class (Enhance-Totem, Mage-4x Roots, Hunter-Entrapment) can prevent my entire team from escaping, with one character.
If that ends up going live, which it looks like it will... I don't see my style of play as being enjoyable; BG's have sucked balls, when I've declined to break roots via power shifting.
So why pay for something which is not enjoyable?
Again, I put my money where my mouth was.
Listed the reason for the cancellation.
And specifically said, if the class remains fun -- and for me the supreme mobility is what makes it fun -- I will definitely renew.
If there is another feature that makes it enjoyable to box/play, that would work too.
But if the class is not what I enjoy, then I'm done.
From a boxing point of view.
If Blizzard is happy to remove something which has been class defining and constant for the entire life of the game.
Then they are just as likely to nerf the next class I invest hundreds of hours in leveling and gearing in battlegrounds, and spending massive gold on, etc.
So, I've put my foot down.
I don't see it as over-reacting.
If the class is fun after whatever changes, I'll play it.
If the class is not fun, I won't play it.
And I won't be switching to a new flavor of the month, since the Ferals are the most fun I've had boxing, and anything else could be as drastically nerfed just as easily.
I hope to finish gearing my dk team and do some guild raids. The expansion is bitch when it comes to doing heroics but if you stick with it you can overcome. My pve team is geared up decent and the pvp team is nearly in full pvp gear.
I solo leveled a shaman, rogue, hunter, and warlock to 85. I play the shaman with my friends in PVP, resto spec does much better now than it did in LK. I play the rogue in PVP sometimes as well.
My team of 1 shaman and 4 hunters is level 84 and needs about 40% more to hit 85. That is my current goal.
My goals, assuming I continue to play (no plans to quit, but I tend to play it by ear):
* Level my other teams (lvl 63 mages, lvl 43 warlocks) to 85.
* Eventually wind up with five each of level 85 shaman, hunter, warlock, and mage.
* Have at least 5,000 gold on each level 85 character when they ding. This one is easy, most will be at 6k-7k just from quests and mob loot.
Mostly I plan to run teams of 1 shaman and 4 of the other classes to quickly run daily quests and Tol Barad for easy upgrades, money, and guild experience. The guild is about halfway to level 6 and I have around 60,000 gold so far. I only plan to PVP with a single character at a time, primarily the one shaman that I play right now.
At some point I'll probably level my paladin to 85 as well and see about running dungeons or old raids and such. Mostly I want to have my groups at max level so that I'm ready to hit the next expansion running if I'm still playing at that time. No real plans for running dungeons or raids right now, aside from the occasional 5-man run with friends. I think I'm done with the PVE grind in WOW aside from leveling and daily quests.
You could say i'm a slow player, my first toon took me 2 years to level, and she's only 2. I'm multiboxing from august ;)

One thing I don't like is that the only cities that are alive are SW and ORG. Rated BGs are a letdown for boxers, they don't really work unless the other team sucks balls or they are undergeared. So I'm not doing any rated BGs.

And as always, doing logs of battlegrounds which I don't feel like they ever get old. Griefing armies of undergeared (and sometimes overgeared) people in BGs is always fun.
And I plan to moderate my time in WoW so I don't get burned out. I started with parental controlling my own accounts to get them to disconnect me from the game at 11PM on every week day. It works because I'm lazy and after I get DC-ed I don't want to go back and change the parental controls to let me log back in.
I see a lot of you are disappointed and canceling. Well, that never worked for me. I've always come back, so I just take it easy, not have too high expectations, not let upcoming changes get me upset, etc. I just go with the flow and try to have fun. A few engineering levels today, a few random bgs tomorrow, a few normal dungeons the day after and so on.
Oh and Kang, when are we doing that BT raid as a guild? :)

The 80-85 experience for me was so damn annoying. Want to dungeon so I don't have to quest, but I have to quest to be able to do dungeons. And questing means collection quests.
Just that experience has degraded my interest in leveling alts so much that I have no more interest in more teams.
Normal dungeons are boring at 85, and heroics are a wipefest. Soloing heroics always reminds me of why I started boxing, and trying to do TB dailies with soo many other people at the same time is painful.
To add to all of that, my progression guild of a year and a half broke up 2 weeks into raiding, so I'm in a new guild, with few friends, and now I only find myself logging on for raids. Been a few weeks since I logged the team on.
Took my main from 80-85, am in a very nice guild, don't see a point in boxing anymore with the LFG tool and everything I want to do in the game. In the process of consolidating my accounts from 6 to 2 and then finally 1 I guess.
Yeah, that seems to go against their stated intention of making the old world viable again. That's why they removed the Outland and Northrend portals, they said. I don't mind that they did that, but all they've done is make Orgrimmar and Stormwind the new Shattrath/Dalaran.Quote:

Personally, I'm enjoying this expansion. I got my five shammies to 85 last week, now I'm leveling my PvE team. They're 82 at the moment, so I have a bit to go. I'm enjoying the quest lines. I also really love being back in Thunder Bluff as my home.
My focus on this expansion is PvE. I think the shammies will get a few battles in, but I'm going to actively try heroics on this one with my PvE team. That, and making gold. I've never had more than 40k gold, and after going into the expansion with basically 0 gold, I have 58k even after power leveling all my alchemists and powerleveling my pally's enchanting and blacksmithing.
I'm making a major change in job/location, so I may be taking a vacation from WoW soon whether I want to or not. But until then, I'm enjoying the expansion.
There are two banks and auction houses in Stormwind too.
The traditional, where they always were... well the auction house is now entered from directly across from the bank entrance instead of across from the weapon trainer.
And there is an AH/Bank in the dwarven quarter too.
This one is much less crowded, at least on my server... still very busy, but a third the number from the traditional one.
