just saw you in av thats some wack shit, a shaman and 7 fire mages lol
hrm I take it the shaman was resto?
yeah im guessing it was
eh i wasnt impressed plus he didnt even reply to me.
I been having a blast yesterday (played untill 7 am).
One time we had 3 groups of boxers ally had the legion of doom warlocks which smashed me.
But I tossing living bombs on everyone and sometimes doing really well (other hoard are starting to heal me now), sometime not so well if like 20 ally attack me ....
Its way to hard to talk, plus if I talk and the chat thing at the bottem of the chat window stays open then all my commands go there instead of to the toon and its a real pita to indivdially close those windows.
I just dont have time, in game to play at a high level AND carry on conversations. I talk enough on the forums and will be more then happy to respond here.
Ya I respec the shaman to healing, I really wish I had my level 80 paliden as the leader though. Shaman really isnt "all that and a bag of chips" that I thought they were at the start. On the other hand living bomb is just to good.
Turn off broadcast for a sec ;p ? and then re-enable it?
i was going to say lets get on vent and queue together but neverming then
Does tiger woods talk while golfing? Pro Tennis players talk while playing tennis? Pro Football reciever talk while catching the ball ....
really ....
heh pro?
Rofl - where's the video? :)
not edited lol
None of those guys are sitting naked in front of a bunch of computers watching teen porn with one hand and playing WoW with the other.
Not that I'm saying that's what your doing but playing WoW, regardless of 'pro' status, is hardly as taxing as real professional athletes at the peak of their game.
And yes they can talk even so, real professionals can usually do a running commentary of what they're doing while they're doing it without breaking a sweat - that's why they're professional, because they're _good_, not amateurs who think they're the best in the world despite repeatedly having it disproved.
I find this quite suprising :p.
most boxers i know will happily carry on conversations while in BG's or instances (unless they are at a really crucial fight)
hey in most bg's i'm in, i have to field loads of questions about multiboxing and how its done from other players(in between killing sprees )
If you can play AND talk at a certian level then you can JUST play at a higher level .....
Lets see a video of a weight lifter doing a record setting lift while talking ..... Ya can a pro weight lifter talk and lift a light weight sure .... Just cause they are a pro dosnt mean they are engaged in world class activity while they are blabbing. And golf has tons of down time, I find it almost impossible to belive that TW TALKS WHILE he is hitting the ball, in a tournament with 100,000 plus on the line.
Or maybe you feel that you play better when you are doing 2 things, then why not watch TV and day trade also all at the same time, you'll do them all better.
I play to play and I play to win. I might not win all the time (on the other hand horde on 70-79 AV is losing 80 percent of the time easy me or not), but I play to win. You can approach it as a game if you wish, I plan to be the best and play accordingly. Ya I am far from the Tiger Woods of WoW but if I just play like its not important then I doubt I will ever be.
Well why don't they talk during crucial fights then? I like to approch ALL my battles as if they are crucial.Quote:
unless they are at a really crucial fight
Don't forget Im running 8 characters, its not much more then 5 but it is more then 5 (actaully its 160percent more then 5 .... ).
LoL they are not talking they are clenching their stomach muscels causing a grunting sound, exactly what they should be doing, and if they don't they will never win.
I don't know why you guys are ripping Sam. I didn't take anything he said as egotistical. He just gave an analogy. Plus he's been doing this way before any of us. Before this site existed, before Xzin, Ellay, and whoever else may have given you inspiration. Way before WoW came along for that matter. Let the man have his fun.
