Hello I have a fair few 80's now I have just come back to playing WoW yet again my first instance team is 4 shamans and a Pally.. I would like to know how would my 2nd team go I am thinking of 1 Shaman 1 Pally 1 Warlock 1 Priest 1 Druid heavy spell casters again but only 1 healer how well does this work? and would it be better to have my priest healing or my druid?

My cataclysm team will be druid + 4 priests, which isn't great synergy and worse CC.
With that said, I think you may want to look at adding a mage. Supposedly Cataclysm is going to utilize CC again (finally) and we all know how wonderful sheeps are.
I'm having good success with a Paladin, Warlock, Shaman, Mage, Priest team right now. I can't imagine dropping anyone at this point except *maybe* the Warlock - Shaman totems and backup heals pretty essential, and the mage puts out a crazy amount of DPS (and is simple to macro). Disc priest is enough to keep my group up with the shaman occasionally backup healing.
A lot of folks have success and love slaving Druids, but they strike me as more of a driving/active character given how versatile they are.
I was thinking druid because of how fast they can dps also and I like mark of the wild buff how geared is your priest also?
I can't speak to Boomkin DPS mechanics/macros so someone with more experience will have to help out there, but I believe the group damage boosts from druid can be duplicated with the Warlock - so you may only only need one of the two if you were to use them both in purely DPS roles.Quote:

To answer the original question, I'd say swap the Warlock for a Mage and make the Priest your healer.
If I were to mixd team I would go pally druid shaman mage priest, due to the way the new instances are with cc and the buff synergy.
I have just finished leveling a new Horde team and I went with Pally, Warlock, Mage and 2 Shamans (1 dps and one resto). As a point of reference, when I dinged 80 by 50/50 dungeons and questing so I had a lot of blues but I was able to clear gundrak straight off with this team.
I love the mage for dps and food and I love the warlock for summoning and also they put out a lot of dps too, 2 shamans are nice to have for anti fear etc (not as good as 3 but close)

I like very much the 5% Spell Crit Bonus from the Druid.

Yea that is what iwas thinking im so bored of my 4 shamans and 1 pally and I wanted to have the extra buffs from my other charaters I mean really there all just sitting there why not give them a try together. I might level up my mage now he is 72 :P will have to see then that will put me to 10 level 80's lol. but done over time ;)

i don't think anyone knows how to handle the eclipse proc properly without single boxing. I'd like to be proved wrong, but imagine macroing, then looking out for, then switching all your dps to a new button every time it procs. then imagine having 2 druids and having 4 dps buttons to take care of the combinations. The complexity is not necessary when you can frostbolt a mob to boredom instead...
I posted a solution about a year ago. You have an addon that sees your slaves proc, configure it to say "hit F12" or whatever when one gets eclipse, you hit F12 which changes the type of spell one of your moonkins is casting (toggles between wrath or starfire). i run Pally Tank, Priest Healer, Shaman DPS, Mage DPS, Boomkin DPS and it works well for me now that they are geared up. I just use Jamba proc to show me when Eclip procs, then i press my 2nd DPS key which is the same for all the toons, just for the druid it replaces wrath with Starfire. Easy enough to do, not 100% effective but then i don't know a druid that is perfect single boxing it either.
Shaman i think need to be pointed out that also bring the 5% spell crit buff that the druids brings but they don't stack.
I'm also thinking about leveling a warlock to replace the druid for summons and stuff, but really like the battle res and innervate for the priest and stuff.. So not sold on a lock being better then a druid, but it's taken me a lot of time to get everything set up and working right for the group to gel right and i'm still working out better ways to do things and to do new things. mabye i'll do a write up one day if there is interest in it and i got it working right.. LOL

has anyone tryed a shadow priest in a combo like...Pally Tank , Shaman dps, Druid heals, Priest dps, Warlock dps. just wondering how good is shadow priest within other classes on boxing together
