We are getting rid of a lot of the "being CC'd doesn't really counter you" talents, because we think they have led to classes not having weaknesses. The fact that instant casts are so important in PvP we think is a direct result from mobility being so important which is a direct result of nobody being controlled. We just need to chill all of that stuff out. If CCs are too potent, we want to nerf the CCs, not give everyone "CCs are impotent" talents. (Source)

Interesting. Although I know this thread is regarding PvP, all this talk about CC makes me want to level my mages just in case I need those sheeps in PvE.

Yeah, I just leveled up another couple to 80 just in case.

unless i read this wrong shammys are getting a form of "sheep" so should help out those shammy teams

notice the elemental part. It only works vs elementals.

There better be a lot of elementals that need sheeping :(

Yeah i know. But that's hardly comparable with polymorph.

It likely see its power decreased too, then. They never give without also taking away. Well, except for pallys.

But as for the elementals, they always make a nice mess for the enemies and provide with some good dps. THAT i'd like to see in arena ;)

Same here lol. They do A LOT of damage now though. if i pop 4 of them warriors etc just get eaten by them in like 5 seconds. I lol'd when i saw a 20k warrior dropping in 2 seconds by just the ele's.
