I can never seem to kill a team of disc priest with a destro lock if they are in wrathful gear. No matter which target i pick, silences and all i can't ever kill them, it's beyond frustrating. Including popping wings and attempting to CC them with hammers/repent.
If i trinket at the wrong time i'm dead period.
Those are very sturdy classes, pick a different target and force them to go defensive, then switch target. Keep doing that until one cracks.Quote:

disc priest + warlock + ??? I assume they got a second healer. If no second healer, just the priest himself, no way he lives through strangulate.
If 2nd healer is holy paladin, then I say you don't have much of a chance.
Idk about that remanz, 2 healers should be fairly easy to interrupt with 4 repetences, 4 HoJ's, mind freeze and strangulate.
well we are talking about tough match ups, intelligent opponents. Not the ones who bunched up together and let you multi hammer them for free.
Nobody would stand together. so really just repen and strangulate.
Not saying it is impossible but it requires some really good timing and really good precision here. It comes with steps.
1st, you have to see it. Both strangulate and repen require facing. You can apply them without watching the cast bars. That's a plus. But facing is still a problem. (With IWT madness, you don't know where you are facing)
2nd you have to execute multi target action here. Basically the DK you control is targeting the 1st healer for strangulate. And then your slaves are targeting the 2nd healer for repen. Some clever focus usage needed.
If it is that easy to control 2 healers, we be all 2200 ratings already. and the reason I mention paladin is that, he can just bubble and mad heal with bloodlust. There is nothing you can do about it. And the worst part is that he BOP your target too.

I never even bother with smart focus macros, just keep spamming repents and hammers each paladin on a different arena target and if it lands good, if it doesn't try again next game.
My suggestion for cc that requires facing would be using about 3 buttons (Such as F1, F2, F3 for fast button presses)
(0. Leave a window open for a GCD)
F1. Target the specific arenatarget
F2. "Interact with Target"
F3. /cast "cc"
So, to cc you simply roll from F1 to F3 with 3 fingers.. Well, most likely easier said than done. But it's an idea ;)
How do you manage your CC then Firstcow? You just cast the stuns, silences, and interupts on your main target? Or do you focus a healer and cast target=focus for the CCs ?
You can make macros to have each pally target a different person on the arena unitframe for their cc, assuming you want to try to cast on all of them at the same timeQuote:

As a priest for my main, I would be *VERY* suprised to see you get the jump on me especially as disc. Kromtor had the hardest time with priests, and they were his #1 and first target since they will mass dispell away all your dmg reduction.]Quote:
