Hi all,
so I boosted my latest horde shamans to 61 and now I am doing the shaman class quests to get fire, air and water. Did you guys do them all or is there any fast way to do them. The horde questline seems a lot longer and much more "go here, get x and then bring it back". Anyone got any tips on these questlines now that I am at lvl63?

bang head against table? I haven't found a fast way of doing this on alliance other than having a lock summon in ashenvale to avoid that long run. Oh and fast mount.
They changed the alliance water quest at some point recently -- you don't have to run to ashenvale anymore. There's now a fountain on bloodmyst isle that you have to go to instead. I just did this quest last week.
It really does suck, at this point a lot of these quests should be replaced with the simple talent, similar to the mount quests for warlocks, pallys and druids.
Oh well :-(
Since you are 63 on them, just set the hearth to a good location and utilize your hearthstone/spell to the maximum (to travel faster) with just them logged in doing the quests. At least the air totem is just one step. :)
I was doing the water one yesterday and so much back and forth, truly a HUGE time sink. :(

This. The water totem quest is particularly aggravating. What's worse about the whole thing is that whoever designed the totem quests apparently ran out of either time or energy, so that the last totem quest for horde (for orcs, anyway) consists of "visit this NPC and she'll just hand you the totem." I'm not complaining that the last totem quest isn't longer. But after they make you run around for the sake of a 'good' quest line or lore or whatever the fuck, they just give up when you get to the last one. Oh, fuck it, just take the damned totem.Quote:

Well I think they should do this for most class quests at the lower levels. If there is something to get between 80 -85, a questline would be fine but otherwise all the low level ones (Warlock quests also come to mind) should be changed to a talent that you can learn instead of having some classes with these crazy quest lines and other classes just simple talents, that IMHO is what needs fixing.
I think horde shaman class quest has been voted as the WORST quest in WoW for several times.
It was even more horrible before wrath than nowadays because now you get a mount at low levels. Imagine running to all those places....

I wish the travel was as easy as in city of heros lol that was fun
