Just curious what instances people do for fun and gold.
Magtheridons Lair is pretty good. Takes like 5 min for 500g and a ton of epics to DE and tokens.
Mag drops 500g literally or are you referring to total value from his drops and/or other denizens?

I dont think there's an instance you can farm more efficiently then heroics atm.
If i get ToC or occulus (i really cba to do those), i might do a quick ICC dungeon on normal while waiting for my next random. Always some purples to DE that drop there and they are pretty fast.

Like what instances do people enjoy doing for fun, while farming gold...not including heroics. Stratholme, ramparts, sethekk halls etc are all examples.Quote:

I farm Kara but that really old news, been doing that since TBC anyway. Moroes trash, Attunmen trash and both bosses net a tidy profit. Push all the way to Opera if you can be bothered - but those two are the fastest gold.
ZG for mounts - the Bijou's used to sell for 10g each - back when achievments first hit - but not anymore.
I would think aoeing through a bunch of instances to get enchanting mats for Cata launch could be profitable - I'm sure Nether Essence and Illusion Dust and Dream Dust are all going to go for heaps as people level up Goblins and Worgen (or new class combo's).

HAve all your alts "pass on loot" and loot everything with your main. He/she will be able to loot every green/blue/epic without having to alt tab to the alts to roll.Quote:

That and, I consider farming something that gives you pretty consistent results. I never understood when people said they were "farming" rare drops - like mounts or pets or the super simian sphere thing.... Doesn't seem like farming if you could do it over and over and over again for months or years and get 0 result.

I wish valkyr would make some videos of 5 boxing TK, BT, AQ40, and BWL. Because this is epic news to me somebody 5 boxing KT for the Ashes of Alar... Didn't think it was possible.
When I tried to do BT the boss where you have to throw the crystal spines to break his shield tore me up... As for KT in TK I don't know how the hell you're managing that with the legendary weapons, anti gravity, etc...
If you made some videos of whatever you're doing it be something special. Since I have yet to see any video of somebody 5 boxing those raids...
There is already a video of someone 5 boxing BWL out there. I used it to have a look at how to do the first boss. Basically he stands all his guys in the middle and uses main to run about about and break eggs. Heal on alt/alts to draw aggro of all the mobs. Took me a couple of tries but it isn't too bad. All the others are easy just the big dog you have to keep dispelling and make sure you don't over aggro. Takes a few mins to down him.
I'd like to see twin emps vid though. I do the first 5 in there for rep haven't even tried twins. Would like to see BT and TK as well. The first boss in BT killed me as well. Only tried it once cos I was passing but it I didn't get close to killing him.
only been BT once, first boss was really easy - made a macro to break the shield. Second wiped the floor with me tho :(.
You can also do Master Loot, and have your main pass on loot, but set threshold to green or above. This way, only bodies with green and above will sparkle. Then you can either give the loot to yourself or your alts.Quote:

Utter zerg. Hex if one gets MCd. I use shadow prot aura on my pally, not sure if this helps resist the MC or not but it's just habit for me now. The other way is to just solo him with my prot pally. Takes a bit longer but no MC troubles and self-healing+absorbtions counter the dmg from the boss.Quote:

Anti-gravity is easy to handle, I binded x (sitdown) to all my chars and it's just like swimming, just go near the floor and keep dpsing. I'm also not afraid to alt tab, I can continue all my rotations while swapping wow windows.
