3 shaman pvp.... tremor sucks and prot warriors wtf?

nothing is more annoying than having 3 tremors down, and getting feared once, each char runs 25 yards awaya and it last 9 fucking seconds with the 3 tremor totems still alive.... well i end up loosing cause in the 9 second fear one of my guys is so far away ill never get him back, and 1 guy is dead.... pretty gay how priest and wars can win just because bliz cant make a game mechanic worth a shit.

Prot warriors - one fucking took my guy from 24k to dead almost solo. he did 60k dmg and the next closestr was 25k.... he aoe stunned, silenced, reflected and just generally did more dmg than all 3 of my shamans by himself... so bullshit wish bliz would nerf them... and bladestorm is kinda op also , warrir fear + blade storm. one guy is dead in 4 seconds while fear last the whole 9 seconds even with tremors... qq

Are you staggering the Tremors?

They should pulse every second, with three of them and a second between each drop.

Same as above, are you staggering them? I've not had problems with getting feared when I have them down staggered, usually max 1 sec of fear before tremor breaks it. When I forget to put them down though, that's another matter.

When warriors bladestorm I just insta-ghostwolf and run. Get some range and nuke.

Depending on how fast i staggered my totems i've had same issues. But then i figured out i was either to far away or i got feared multiple times.

What annoys me the most is that hand of freedom rarely works against a fear. Nor that my tremors seem to protect my pally from a fear.

Good tip about Ghostwolf! I'll try that.

I have my follow key put a totem down randomly on a few of my guys. This saves your ass quite often, especially in BGs

it's one of those things.. if the fear would be game breaking, it'll be a full one or at least long enough to put you out of range.

if it's late in the game and there's 1 stupid priest who won't just leave, it'll break instantly every time.

I blame some guy named Murphy.

Sounds to me like someone just doesn't like the downsides of boxing.

Be glad you don't have to micro manage fears like my arena team priest/4mage.

I always attempt to pre-mass dispel fears. If you time it right the priest can even dispel fear off himself
Fear ward the priest.... L2quick on the mass dispel fear. trinket the 2nd fear, attmept to mass dispel everyone, everyone but priest trinket the 3rd fear while priest runs behind some pillar somewhere and forgets to keep me alive :)

My favorite are the times in AV. If an ally happens to get a fear off, it'll almost always exclusively hit my 5 guys and no one else. I've had my guys split between several different groups, bunched up or spread out and with a good 15-20 horde all around me, on top of me etc... and for whatever reason, my team almost always eats the fear exclusively.

Can someone provide me a macro for the staggering of Tremor totems, at the moment it puts them all down at once :(

i use this!

you can just switch out where tremor is.

i also have call of the elements bound so i can insta cast 4 totems with 1 hit. wery good if theres a team without diseases or poisons since in that one i use 3X healingstream and 1 mana totem instead of 4 cleansings ;)

I would actually stagger them via the spell which drops 4x totems at once.
Call of Ancestors, or whatever they're called.

That way, you spend only 1 GCD per shaman.
Rather then 1 GCD each, plus a 2nd GCD for the Tremor staggering.

I use something like this:

Shaman 1: (with Tremor as part of CotA)

You could do that, but it doesn't get all your other totems down until GCD 2,3,4 also. I like to have groundings, etc. down straight away in case they're needed (in BGs for example) and to start the CD on them. Just my preference.

Your problem is that you run only 3 toons. 3 is the edge to get the worst sides of both worlds.

You have the same mobility as a 4 or 5 boxer (turret of doom), but none of the extra advantages as oneshoting firepower.
With 5 toons you have a strategic advantage around game caps.

1 ) Fear affects up to 5 entities. If you have fire elementals out they are counted as entity. With 3 you have a total of 6 entities and you will always get feared.

2 ) Aoe caps at 10 entities. This means that you will always take the full aoe even if you have elementals out and people around you.

3 ) 3 shamans are not enough to take down a spinning warrior and a FoK happy rogue, so you have no option to drop magma totems and spam chain heal while they die.

also make sure your shamans are into the same group. Usually when you join BGs they get group mixed, so totems don't stack except the raid wide totems.If I don't mistake, cleansing and tremor totems are not raid wide.

I always thinked that 3 toons groups are mainly used for pve where you can fit all the DPS slots in a group and are a viable option for raiding since you don't take half of the raid spots.
