Ok so I know next to nothing about mounts. How can I get my draenai a different mount? It's the most annoying and obscenely large piece of shit I've seen.
I'm looking for the quickest cheapest avenue possible, I want something smaller.

The only smaller mounts are drops, faction-specific or engineering/tailoring craftables unless I'm forgetting some. If you're already rich, the craftable ones are the easiest as you just PL up your skill. If you love running BGs, the PVP mounts are probably the next easiest.
I got war tiggers with BG marks. It's true, the draenei mounts suck big time.
LOL I was bitching about this myself. The fat elephant keeps getting stuck on everything. I think it's worse than the kodo.
I'd do the pvp mounts.
30 of each mark type, AB, AV, WSG.
For alliance, in my BG, that's basically 10-15 AV's and 25-30 AB/WSG's.
Grind to exalted with a the other playable race of your choice that has the mount you want and buy those. Rep is pretty easy to come by these days.
If your level 80 (which I am doubting by the sound of it) do the argent crusade dailys and take the scrolls of rep you can get. Otherwise
Do the starting area of the race
Find any low level towns dedicated to that race (WoW head can search for quest that give reps to certain factions, its helpful)
Do the cloth hand ins (60 wool, silk, mageweave, runecloth)
AV MOUNTS !
by far the easiest. only requires 40 AV marks.
Allthough 4 black war tigers look pro :D
Got the same stuff with my druid on horde team, others are UD/Belf and one fat kodo mount for the tauren :/

You haven't seen big mounts until you've seen taurens on war mammoths! :D
I'd take this route. In fact I've already done so. If you go to the newbie zone of another race and do all the available quests, starting from the very first one, you should be exalted way before you leave the level 20-30 zone. Just be aware that you might find Gnomeregan's reputation bit harder to grind because gnomes offer less quests than other factions. I'd say easiest ones are StormWind and Darnassus. Should be doable in a few hours (I did it when the first mount used to be available at level 40).Quote:

Might be worth farming pvp marks before the 3.3.3 patch comes live then convert them into honnor points and buy the mount of your choice for 50,000 points. We can't tell for sure yet that the prices won't change though..
2k for every mark is wayy too much, its bound to just be a placeholder amount
Agreed! My favorite is spreading my guys out just a little and bloodlusting then mounting them. THEY ARE SO BIG!!! It's always good for some lols around the org bank :DQuote:

Well, take a look at the upcoming patchnote Blizzard already posted, you'll see they're pretty much going to bargain pvp stuff as the end of the extension is coming, the same way they already did for pve stuff :p . 200 honnors per mark would make the mount way more expensive as it is now. I'm confident the conversion rate will stay about the same, maybe a bit lower but not down to 200 :)Quote:
