7.5k gold, where should i spend it on?

Good morning everyone,

I have finally sold my Permoridal? Saronite and i now have 7.5k gold. I already have my epic flying mounts.

I was thinking of leveling enchanting to 425 on my last 2 characters, and spend 1.5k-2k on my gems.

On my main i have mining and jewelcrafting and i dont think i will drop one of them for enchanting. The reason why i choose enchanting is because i like the idea of disenchanting quest rewards in cataclysm that i gain from quests. Since enchanting mats will become expensive at the start. I just bought my Furious Chest and Headpiece, so i need around 12 red gems and a meta gem for those. I can cut these myself and get the gems either via emblems or honor.

Does this sounds like a good plan or is there something else i can spend my money on that i haven't thought about yet?

Im not going to farm/buy 4x Battered hilt because the prices are insane on my realm.

Well ... my girlfriend was hacked and my guild bank was cleaned out soon after. You could transfer 880g in pity to Lightbringer ... :)

I dunno, I usually spend my excess money on alts's level 80 BoE epics. Lately I've been farming money to pump up some frost resist gear for my main team, specifically because Tyrannus always spanks me. If I had 7.5k, I'd fill them up with gems (Icebane and Glacial pieces have two to three gem slots each ...) and probably just buy the mats for enchants. Just me though.

Take 5k of it and start playing the AH, turn it into 25k. Then, you'll never worry about gold for a long time.

The PVP season ends soon, start using some of that to stockpile on gems and enchants, and resell into the new season for huge profits.

Too bad you can't buy heirloom gear, that would be the best bang for your buck.

I would buy a profession if your lacking, or do the AH like the previous poster stated.

I just spent 8k powerleveling 2 of mine's engineering for the parachute and hand rockets. Got 3 more to go today :(

Why do you have to have a goal to spent it on? I simply like having 10k gold, just in case.

LoL, I had to vendor stuff on a couple toons yesterday to take a flight path. Two 425 engineers and 3 at 300 now. Getting there!

Def. play the AH. Granted Cataclysm is still 6 months + away, But who knows what kind of gold sinks we can expect.
