/facepalm
Without know every detail of your team, this question is impossible to answer.
My guess would be using the efficient but mana intensive rotation while still wearing pants or not sitting enough.
Post your armory for your toons.
Post your macro.
List what you buff on your pally, what totems you drop and when you most run short on mana.
Then we can help ya'!
Pants are a crutch. Real men play pantless.
How about Armory links Furs will that help????

What are you tanking when you go oom? Are you outgearing the instance? You only have 1/2 in Spiritual Attuement which would be ok, unless you have mana problems. Are you buffing Sanctuary? What judgment do you use? Someone is dropping mana spring totem, right? Are you getting replenishment?
its not uncommon for me when i outgear the content imr unning to just heal the pally to help regen mana.
Does Heart of the Crusader and ToW stack perhaps I could move boints in the benediction? or is that just an epic bad idea?
Judge wisdom, maybe seal wisdom and continue to consecrate or only cast consecrate at then beginning of each pull and continue to seal vengence/coruption. See if that works better. You already hit 4 mobs with the hammer.
What seal are you using, and what type of content are you tanking?
my paladin runs out of mana when hes not getting hurt so no mana from heals, or im not fighting enough mobs to get back mana from sanctuary. However seal/judge of wisdom, sanctuary and divine plea will keep him topped off on just about everything.
If its too big of a problem, get your mana pool up. Divine plea is a % regen. It gives back more if you have a larger pool.
This will help a lot.
What I do:
1) Judge Wisdom
2) Buff Sanc on pally and Kings on others
3) Use a mana totem on one shaman
Even with this, my pally often needs to drink between trash fights.
Also, I prefer 2/2 Spiritual Attunement, but it may be a matter of preference.
SOV Im Tanking Heroics and ICC reg
I was under the impression that SOV was much better for tanking because your hammer applies SOV on the other 3/4 mobs it hits thus why I use it... Now Switching to Judge Wisom may be more beneficial to me Ill have to see how that would work out. Im sure the Shamen would love it.
Switch to seal of wisdom. Judge wisdom too.
And make sure divine plea is up 100% of the time.
I only discovered the talent that refreshing Divine Plea on melee recently ... respeccing to include that talent has made my pally's mana a non-issue.
As your gear gets better, older content (heroics) - you're going to have mana problems. thats just how it works. (same for warriors and bears with rage).
solution? pull bigger packs :D
Switch your first judgement to wisdom.
You won't have enough characters to judge wisdom twice, if you have a reset condition. And you will want a reset condition.
I use a click macro, to call my 96969 macro.
Basically, if I press the click macro with the ALT key held, it stops the macro.
Which is useful for having the shammies nuke something at range, which will die before it closes to melee.
Without the Paladin casting Holy Shield.
Plus it gives enough characters to include a /startattack line, and/or /use 13 and /use 14 for trinkets.
You want the talent which refreshes Divine Plea, on a melee hit.
From the time you click it, it should be up for the entire fight.
And probably is available for the next fight.
You don't want the talent which reduces opponents attack speed.
You'd rather they hit at normal speed, which is extra damage taken on your part.
Similarly, don't glyph Divine Plea as that reduces damage taken by 3%.
You do want 2/2 Spiritual Attunement, for mana received based on healing received.
Possibly consider the glyph for Spiritual Attunement, depending on your mana issues.
I find I'm often mana deprived the most, with single pull after single pull.
With a lot of trash mobs, I am blocking so much, my Blessing of Sanctuary gives me a ton of mana.
This is a valid strategy actually. Take off some of your high end gear (piece or two) and you'll get hit harder, which will help with mana regeneration.
Tanking in an actual dress - literally - is pro though. Only the most advanced crazies should try this. :D
(screenshot or it didn't happen!)
Well, HoR is current content - so you need to take this one carefully.
And if you're asking about Shaman having AoE..... /facepalm - seriously, do a little research on your own.
/castsequence reset=9 Holy Shield,Hammer of the Righteous,Judgement of Wisdom,Shield of Righteousness,Consecration,Hammer of the Righteous,Holy Shield,Shield of Righteousness,Judgement of Wisdom,Hammer of the Righteous,Consecration,Shield of Righteousness
full 969 rotation macro under 255 characters with reset using wisdom. Been using this for a long time, pulled it from my WTF file. But yea, I use a /click too for adding /startattack, trinket use, conditional targeting like the chaotic rifts and disabling the error noise.
Hey Ualaa I basically copied everything you did from the 96969 macro to the shaman setup.
What talent reduces attack speed? I have the one that reduces attack power
I was under the impression that the glyph of divine plea was really needed as the 3% really adds to the medigation
I am however going to take off the bonus to attack power and put those points in benediction and Im wondering if Pursuit of justice is really worth it as I dont get disarmed ever...
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sZV0x...IufdvsM00c:pGN along these lines im thinking.
This basically gives me an addition 8% mana (all of our spells are Instant cast) what do ya think?
You really like that /facepalm dont ya =) but your right that was a bit of a dumb question lol. With magma TS and fire nova chain lighting that has got to be enough to pull a good amount of stuff down @ least in my mind.
Perhaps I just worded my phrase/question wrong.
If you are outgearing the instance and not taking a huge amount of damage (And so not getting hit much and getting many heals) Then you could try switching to Seal and Judgement of wisdom. This is only for places where your incoming damage is not really a threat, your mana will stay topped up all the time :D
I just don't concecrate and judge wisdom if i outgear an instance.
If you are only tanking heroics a lot of damage mitigation glyphs/talents hurt you more than they help. If however you are tanking raid content you will want them - what I did to solve my mana issues was:
Warning the following only applies to tanking heroics - I would not recommend doing this for raids
1) Respec to 2/2 SA
2) Respec to Benediction instead of Heart of Crusader (does not stack with shammy)
3) Use Glyphed Seal of Command (my preferred Seal for heroics)
4) Drop 1 point of Judgements of the Just (would have dropped 2 points except there was a bug with SoC which made it beneficial to have 1 point in it)
5) Dropped vindication - really is not necessary in heroics nothing hits hard enough to warrant it
6) use Judgement of Wisdom
Never in a million years would I have thought that outgearing an instance would be a bad thing. I suppose with a 4600 Gearscore most dungeons are a bit trivial.
I think im going to have one point in Judgement of the Just (might just take both points out)
5 benediction
2 spiritual attunement
Judge wisdom
and divine plea like its going out of style
I suppose with all those being done Mana Cant be a huge issue. @ least im hoping.

3% mitigation, is quite nice when the content is difficult to live through.
When its closer to farm status, 3% additional damage taken is nice too.
I personally only have 6 points in Retribution, 5% parry and 1 point in improved judgements.
And 7 points in Holy, 5 in Seals of the Pure, and 2 in Unyielding Faith, although those are optional.
*Edit*
Not necessarily the "best" spec, but this works for me: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sV0bZ...sIufzxo:0Gczcm
Am I the only one that allways uses judgement of wisdom? Honestly, I never have problems holding agro, and with warlock for refreshment and shaman mana tide totem, I neveeeeeeeeer run out of mana. Not to mention Divine Plea is like infinite mana as long as you remember to use it ofcoruse.
Zero mana Problems now started judging wisdom and now It takes ATON to run out of mana Thanks everyone! also changed up some talents that were mentioned. Thanks ALL
What seal are you using? With my paladintank +4 shamans, i simply use seal of wisdoms in heroic. I barely take damage on trash, but still use consecration for the eez, ergo my mana runs out quite fast with seal of corruption.
