Thinking of trying a PvP server for the first time. My last 5 box was Pallie / Shammy / 3 x Warlocks.
Any recommendations for a decent class setup for non instanced PvP; thinking maybe 4 x Shammy or Mage with 1 x Druid, something like that ??

Once geared properly, Boomkins can cover #2 & 3 ;p Or at least I do >D And once you're 68+ if someone camps you you can insta-shift to flight form and gtfo of dodge, nice perk vs cast-time flying mounts; you also have the option of cat stealth(or shadowmeld if NE and not a damned cow; Shadowmeld works while drinking/eating and works while in Boomkin form, since it's considered Humanoid)
Shaman are also a good choice, as they're OP. While druids have to expend a big chunk of mana to get armor, and give up the ability to heal in the process, Shamen have no such drawbacks and have more, better insta-cast spells, shocks and ele mastery and the like ;p Not to mention self-res and a second hearth, and they get their travel form sooner, + can use shields and have absolutely no competition on gear lol
I had someone ask me last night how I can do heroics without CC.Quote:

Well against a mutiboxer obviously it's not gonna go so well ;p But if the multiboxer is the druid(s), he can get away from most classes, especially near Halaa where you can res as you hop over a cliff then hit flightform partway down, safely out of re-gank range(Which I did many times lol)Quote:

Honestly jsut roll 5 shaman.
Why?
Mail, 2 sec spamable casts, Chain lightning, Shocks, chain heals (you ARE on top of each other)
Tremor totems....
So you're a ranged, massive healing, quick casting, 3 mob aoe'ing, group buffing powerhouse.
GG.
If you feel a little spicey, add a pally. BoPs on a melee's target makes them wnat to cry when they get in execute range ;)
World PvP, what's that?
Reroll here and you'll find out.Quote:

I'm afraid that question has been asked a million times already, l2search pls.
Diminishing returns, and their size on screen appear to make Tauren the less popular choice.
Thanks for the response :)Quote:

I have all orcs, mainly because my pre-existing L70 Shaman was an orc. However, I agree with the "Taurens make you a huge target" theory. The only benefit to having a shaman might be that your lead Shammy could be Tauren and you could easily hide several orcs behind him...Quote:
