Darkmoon Card: Death

I put 4x of these on my Ret Pallies this morning and I've got nothing but awesomesauce to say about them. They generally will all go off in the same 1-3 second window, adding another 4-8k to my initial burst on a target. The difference on opening on a new target is just amazing.

I will probably swing another one or two upgrade pieces before I do my arena games on Monday night but I'll definitely be Frapsing them and posting. I've gained 200 res, 2500 hp, and a ton of damage since last week. Showcase for the Cards :)

next up, 5 dual-blade butcher's

Yeah ive got 4 decks of for that, not sure if I want to use it. Few more cards and ill have greatness. I have pyro rockets to, so im hoping to be using those shortly. Almost 79, and then ill be rolling into it myself. I guess its hard to tell, for pvp i might use one and pve def use greatness.

Absolutely, I am adding cards AND rocket gloves for my rogues :) Once I gear them I'll be putting out about 25-35k dmg on the first hit against targets.

I have that card on my Ret pally too and it is the bomb.

om my relam we have a dude that pritty mutch controlls the price for darkmoon cards as he simply craft alot of them, asked him today for 4 undeath decks and he handede me 4 vs 1400

I just leveled engeenering on my main the other day and it was relly expensive i dont look forware to level it on the 4 alts will cost me about 12k

those procs are awesome. I had the 25-man toc version of it (death's choice) on the PTR on my rogues and paladins and it procced like whoa. The paladins were hitting like 7.5k attack power

Just checked, has a 30-35% proc chance(45 sec internal CD) , which on my rogues will proc in <3 seconds making it a good addition to my nuke. Just bought 4 of these decks for 500g per... not bad methinks. Darkmoon starts sunday so I'll be doing arena games by sunday night :) Yay for gimmicks! By the way, they are doing insane damage already.

I assuming you're Mutilate spec with the crafted daggers? What healer do you plan on running? Yeah, I love the Death cards on my Paladins... It's another free 6-10k on the initial gib.

No I will be starting as combat spec with imp FOK dmg. I have 8 brewfest mugs with berserker, much better item level and dmg starting out. I also grabbed 4x death cards, 4x titanium rings, and I may buy some lvl245 raid gear before games... not sure. I plan on gimmicking my way (FOKing clumped groups, killing spree on people spread out, either way)to 1500 rating or so.. and start buying relentless accessories so I can skip the furious step of gearing up. Once I get a few pieces, that and the beer maces should be enough to carry me to 1800, at which point I'll grab daggers and switch to Mut.

Sounds like a solid plan for your rogues. Ive got 10 beer mugs waiting myself but I cant start my rogues till 3.3 and i can mail cross faction my heirlooms. Going to suck leveling them without a booster but I wanna have some guys on ally side for fun.

Recently bought myself the death card decks, gotta wait till this Sunday to turn em in and give em a try. Its good to hear how well they are working for you guys and I didn't waste my time getting all the cards.

The cards were one of the biggest upgrades I've made since they hit 80 I think. The extra initial damage is just absolutely insane.

yes the dmg is great. I would have sex with it.

I'm trying to think of other gimmicky things that'll add to the initial burst but nothing comes to mind.

From the comments it appears that proc gets larger if you have wings up.

Dont you think that those 2 shares "proc" cooldown. Its sometimes like that, what ive experienced at least :)

from what I remeber in patch notes the road to sapphriion is now open straigth away, so u dont have to clear all wings first:)
