I am VERY excited for rated BGs.... no more newbs messing things up, and ill get more for my trouble than just jonor points, and useless AV tokens.... Grand Marshall David Here I Come! Maybe ill start 10 boxing.... add some boomkins and some trees....

Can anyone say wintrading BGs? At night time for Australia there is only 1 battle going for the large BGs.
I'm not condoning it, just saying that it will be possible.
You can lose a BG for your team quite easily as well, aspect of the pack for flag runners, bop flag cappers and runners, take siege engines to useless positions, leave bunkers/towers undefended (oh wait, people already do that last one), etc.
Noobs will stuff up your rating, and premades will be rife.
At this point I'd just settle for getting into an AV that hasn't already been lost. Wish there was a way to only queue for new BGs or to even see that one is already in progress before accepting it. I'd also love to have an option for a random BG like they did with dungeons, especially if I could select only new ones.

That happened to me last week, it was a non LoB boxer that ditched a failing AV, opening up 5 spots, and we lost. Oddly enough, it was over in just a few minutes and i was back in the queue and he was still on deserter....
Dont worry though, once you get higher in lvls one boxer can help turn the tide. I've turned turtle losses into wins by capping one tower at a time. Get good at holding off 10 ppl from a tower and you will be an AV God!
Yea, not to worried about it from a boxing perspective, just right now I'm stuck only playing Elli so losing solo can be painful.Quote:
