they do indeed look like macros to me.

Seriously though, only other thing i'de reccomend doing is unbinding your "q" and "e" keys and use everything around your wasd, like i have q,e,z,x,c,v,f,g,t, all bound to do something so i dont have to reach with the other hand or move my hand away from my movement keys to do what i need to do.
and also i'de make 1,2,3,4,5 your most used buttons, seems like they are for the most part.

Other than that if you are looking for advanced macros, check out the wiki or just search for shammy macros or some such

Macro:
You are hardcoding assisting on your main into your macros which can be a real problem in certain cases. In BGs if your main dies and is booted to the GY then your clones won't be able to target anything. You cannot switch leaders. In PvE certain CC like Hex or Charm type CC will really ruin your day.

If your goal is arena and you chalk a loss of your main up as a loss in the game then I suppose it is fine, otherwise you may want to look at solutions like focus based assist or an FTL setup which is a bit more difficult to grasp.

I am not sure if the /w in your follow macros are really necessary. It is going to create a metric ton of spam. Look at addons like Jamba to help with following and managing your group.

Button e:
Elemental Focus is a talent, not an ability, you cannot use it, it is passive. Should it be Elemental Mastery? If this is the case then you need to take Elemental Mastery out of the castsequence as the castsequence will block on EM if it is on cooldown. Have /cast Elemental Mastery on a separate line before your castsequence.

You may also want to take a look at the shaman macros in the Fursphere Macro Compendium thread. Just do a search for it.




Talents:
Are you primarily PvP focused?
Elemental Warding, Reverberation, Astral Shift may look good on paper but you may want to reconsider. Shamanism 5/5 is a must, Eye of the Storm is a life saver, instant ghost wolf is awesome, and you may want to pick up Elemental Weapons as well. For PvP the damage reduction talents might make more sense but I am not sure if it really makes much of an impact.

EDIT: Apparently Elemental Warding, Reverbration and Astral Shift *are* really good for PvP so ignore what I said above. Instant Ghost Wolf and Eye of the Storm are still great talents so you may want to drop some of the mana related talents and pick those up instead.

Long term, you'll get the best results (I'm assuming right handed)...

Right hand on the mouse.
This controls mouse-look and movement.

Left hand on the keyboard.
Use these keybinds with or without mod keys:
12345, QWERT, ASDFG, ZXCVB.
That's 20 keys, you should also be able to reach:
Left Alt (Thumb), Left Ctrl (Pinky) and Left Shift (Pinky)
Which gets you a ton more keys.



Take it with a grain of salt however.
I don't use all of these keybinds myself.
But the important ones for PvP, you'd want easily accessible with the left hand alone.

im gonna play around a little with the keybindings so i can have the other shocks too, but thats still in a test phase

I could not get FTL to work properly with Keyclone, but the No Focus Manifesto has a version 2, with an FTL built in.

I moved to InnerSpace, because it provided a lot of options which were very desirable for me.
I like the near instant PiP swap between windows.
The repeater regions to use click (by click I mean a mouse button here) heals instead of macro's.
The automatic FTL, where you just drag spells from the spellbook to bars - click (by click I mean keyboard press say 1) any one, and have the others click their spell in the same slot and automatically at the same target.
Keymaps are incredibly powerful.
A highly recommended option.



You basically have a few methods for assist.

You'd generally not want to hard wire them into the macro, where they always assist one toon who might die and rez elsewhere.

That leaves.... assist your focus, assist your target, assist your party leader, or the FTL (Focus, Target and Leader free) systems.

FTL is the strongest.
Focus is the easiest, but you lose [target=focus] for PvP or crowd control.
Leader used to rock, but its dead in pvp now.
Target is an option.

With Focus or Target, when you switch from one toon in control to another, all the toons click a button on the same keybind as the PiP switch key.

Therefore there is one hotkey per toon on the team. When you switch to Toon 3, everyone presses the Toon 3 hotkey.

This hotkey either targets Toon 3 (Target based assist) or sets Toon3 as their focus (Focused based assist).

And then everyone casts at either /cast [target=targettarget] or /cast [target=focustarget].
For heals change the format to either: /cast [help, target=targettarget] Heal; [help, target=targettargettarget] Heal or /cast [help, target=focustarget] Heal; [help, target=focustargettarget] Heal.

Really, FTL is a stronger method, and I'd take a hard look at Inner Space. Hot Key Net is a free option (script based) which is very good too, but I like the interface for IS.

More thoughts on your spec (I am not a PvP expert, still learning as well so keep that in mind):

- Elemental Precision: I would try and get the necessary +hit from gear, 3 talent points is very expensive

- Elemental Reach: I would classify this as a MUST HAVE. Other casters will just outrange you.

- Improved Fire Nova Totems: It is getting nerfed in the patch I think but that stun is great.

- Earth's Grasp: The increased range of 10% doesn't sound like much but I really notice the difference. You can pick it up by skimming 2 points from Ancestral Knowledge.

- Reverbration: All PvP specs seem to have this but I am not convinced. 5 points for 1s on shocks seems excessive to me. Maybe there are rotations that depend on it but I am nowhere near that level for PvP and I would rather spend the points where I feel I get more benefit.

By default you can shock once every 6 seconds.

You can reduce the recast delay by 1 second, via the 5 points in Reverbation.
And by 2 seconds, via 2 points in Booming Echoes.

If the target has Flame Shock on it, the Lava Burst hits a lot harder.

But if you Flame Shock the first toon and then prepare to Lava Burst.
The priest is watching for the nukes to Pain Suppression.
The paladin is watching for the nukes to Blessing of Protection.
Etc.

But if you can Flame Shock one toon, and then 3 seconds later Flame Shock another.
That's a lot better then 6 seconds between Flame Shocks.

You'll also have a macro like this one...
/castsequence [target=Focus] Elemental Mastery, Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Chain Lightning

So you can Flame Shock and then virtually instantly follow up with a Lava Burst.
If you had just Flame Shocked one target, it would be nice to be able to follow up with this kill macro in 3 seconds, then need to wait for 6 seconds.

For pvp, you need the "Glyph of Shocking" to reduce the GCD on shock spells too.
That's a glyph that is pretty useless in PvE, or even BG's, but is extremely powerful in arena.

But if we only look at Reverbration then it is 3s vs 4s. Which talents do you miss out on because you push 5 points into Reverbration? Improved Fire Nova Totem? Do you use Fire Nova Totems? And the other 2 points out of Lightning Overload? Totem of Wrath? I think most solo box PvP specs I've seen are 55/16/0 builds with the following:

5/5 Reverbration
2/2 Improved Fire Nova (or 0/2 in spec 2)
0/3 Lightning Overload (or 2/3 in spec 2)
0/3 Elemental Precision
0/1 Totem of Wrath

For multi-boxing specs I've seen another point dropped out of the floating 2 on one shaman to pick up a totem of wrath. If you need the +hit from talents then that is another 3 points to scrounge somewhere. Dropping the 5 points in Reverbration can solve a lot of problems for the cost of 1s on FS CD.

I understand the fakeout, pop the FSs on one target see if they blow their CDs and then do the real combo 3s later when their abilities are still on CD. I played my first 10 arena games last week with 5 shaman and it is going to be a very long time and a lot of gear before a 1s difference on FS cooldown is going to make a difference to me, perhaps when I start pushing for the 1500, 1800, 2000 brackets.

Just starting out I think those 5 points can be spent much better elsewhere.

This is exactly the same build I have on my main shaman. My slaves don't have Wrath. Not sure if he does 5v5 as Elemental or Restoration but if someone in the top 5v5 and 7th 3v3 team specs this way then I think I might have a point.
