Need help configuring Keyklone v1.9i

Sorry for that, but it ist true.

Since Version 1.8 all Versions have more and more bugs, with the Version 1.9i it is not longer possible to play WoW as multiboxer and have fun.


Buglist

• If you close one of the wow windows, keyclone.exe fires up to 25% cpu use an hold this. Keyklone.exe dont end until you kill it with the taskmanager.
• Share all Key´s are not working for longer, by example the A will not shared with the other 4 WoW-Windows,
• It is not lonber possible to enter your Password into all five windows, only the first windows take it right.
• The monitor resulution 1680x1050 don´t work right. Sure you can use the 1-to-1 Option and the game start with 1680x1050 but it don´t fill the whole monitor, it have a border around it.
• The pip hotkey option don´t work for longer, no way to configure it.
• Fakemouse fires up and hangs up, so it dont work (sinc version 1.8k later not more testet)

All of this things are running fine with the version 1.8g with 1.8k the cpu-problems come and the problems are more and more with every newer version.

My Computer is a Windows XP-SP3 System with 4 GB RAM, i use a nvidia g-board.

Please help im so tired to get only buggy software :(

I don't have the same problems as you, but when I turn my pc off fakemouse.exe hangs until I force it closed. Only happens on my xp machine, not my vista 64. I do sometimes get wow.exe errors after I close it out.

i do not support 'fake mouse' software and make no claims to. i've never heard of it. if it works, you're lucky

all resolutions are available... just type them

not able to type your password? pebkc

pip swap keys are fully configurable.

might i suggest you use the wizard to do your setup. it takes 15-30 seconds at the end of which, all your wows are running. type your pword, hit enter twice and enter game.

Tested it, it works just fine. That used to be a bug in old versions, but it hasnt been a problem since 1.8 for me, maybe you should delete everything keyclone and just re install it?

that goes to the previous question, you don't have it set right ie. it doesn't send keystrokes to all windows(i think, works ok for me)

what is fake mouse? ive been boxing for years and never heard of it?

I am currently doing all of the things you are unable to do with v1.9i. I suggest a reinstall of KC, at least.

The ONLY problem I have with the latest Keyclone, the only problem I've EVER had with Keyclone, is mouse broadcasting is very flakey.

I routinely open and close a single window while running instances through Keyclone. Often my main widow so I can open my full-bore, single configuration and swap things to my main and load up the AH with crap to sell. I have never seen this issue.

Again, I routinely pass all keys, most notably to /dance and /flirt with my husband when we cross paths in game and to /love the critters I pass. Sounds like you don't have a DNP toggle set/used or don't have a proper setup for blacklisting.

I enter passwords and Authenticator codes every morning for 5 WoWs at once, see previous comment.

Then you set it up wrong because I'm running at 1680x1050 {well, 1025 since I need to see my taskbar while playing for my chat program} and I have no issues and no border on my window. I do NOT use 1-to-1.

Then you need to contact the people that make this Fakemouse program, because it has nothing to do with anyone here. FYI, your Fakemouse program lays claim to using keys q, w, a, s, d, +, -, space.

Given how well it's working for multiple other people, both on this site and off, and nyself I suggest it's purely user error.

Try deleting it, downloading and re-installing using the wizard as Rob suggests.

I got another issue tho.

When i open Keyclone with 4 wow´s running it opens a 5th wow for some reason, i think its a windows issue. if i press F3
it opens a windows window and jumps out of all my wow´s

If i try to remove the 5th wow "which is not wow" it completly destroys my explore which means i can only use my computer for wow everything els is gone, all the desktop icons is gone and such. So if i want to use my computer proberly i have to restart it

Any ideas what might do this?

that would be the auto-add picking up your wow icon on the desktop. just uncheck auto-add-windows-titled and just use keyclone commands to start your wows... which will be auto-added once they start up.

you can use the wizard to set up the commands if you want

if you're able to get to your task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) you can go to FILE -> New Task and type 'explorer' and hit enter. That will restart the windows explorer (desktop icons and start-bar)

Oh, to add. I've not had any of these problems stated by the OP. The only issue i encounter is the password (i have special characters and capitals in mine)

For me it take one of my two cpu (dual core), so 50% of my ressources.
I suppose you are using quad core.

Software you can't figure out how to configure does not make it buggy software, thread title updated to something more reasonable.

His first complain is a serious problem who make Keyclone an unusable software.
Seems like only few have this bug, but it's serious enought to propose an unsuported version of keyclone 1.8 until the problem is fix.

2 different people have completely answered the issues he was having. Clean install and see if that fixes the problem. There is no reason to go back to 1.8. There is a problem, sticking your head in the sand in an older version isn't the answer. Debugging it is.

Ok.
I try to play with admin and compatibility options to fix this problem.
Don't know why but when i revert back to the initial settings, keyclone now half work.
It detect when a wow windows is close or a process killed with task manager.
(Previously it did not)

But if a wow windows crash. Like, for exemple, big lag in Dalaran, one of the wow freeze and i have to kill it with the process manager or sometimes with wow crash, the title of the wow windows stays on keyclone. (he think the wow windows is still there)
In few seconds, keyclone take 50% of my ressources (one cpu, i'm using a dual core), freeze and i have to kill it with process manager.

I will try to make a video to explain later this night.

Usualy, when i close all wow windows at once, it's common that one of them crash.

That's not a keyclone problem.

If you close multiple copies of Wow at the same time they'll to write the same spot causing the error 303/302 or something. This has been happening since patch3.2 and not before (in my experience).

There are a lot of people with the problem and they're posting on the wow forums. It's incredibly easy to work around, just close the wow clients consecutively and not simultaneously.

Anyhoo, back to keyclone, unless you post specific details I'd have to agree with the other forums posters. We can't help you unless we know exactly what you tried and the error codes/messages/results, if any.

It's not the crash of wow who is the problem here. Like i said : "i purposly make a crash".
The problem is the way keyclone 1.9 (1.8 was fine) handle things when one of the wow windows crash.
It doesn't detect it, go crazy and syphon my cpu.

are you using an amd multi-core cpu?
have you installed the amd multicore patch?

are you turning off everything in task manager except for what you need to play wow? ( wow ati driver suite if ati card and keyclone) theres lots of quick troubleshooting tips and there is a language barrier i see, what is your first lamguage

It was turn off.

no your English is much better than my german where i currently live so I commonly experience the pain of the language barrier so was trying to be helpful and use the translators mark mentioned to help out.

i did have the random wow crash and keyclone not recognize it bug, what i noticed was their is sometimes an "invisible" program running in keyclone that you can highlight but there is no text there, if i end this process the extra cpu usage would go away as well.
how many copies of wow are you trying to run? do you let windows handle your cpu affinity settings? are they all beign ran from different folders?

5 wow, from the same directory, windows handle the process priority but keyclone handle the choice of the cpu.

i no longer use keyclone so no i cant make a screenshot, but in keyclone where it shows all your wow's launched and ip address etc. there was "something" else running without a title that i could highlight, click on and turn off/suspend etc. especially noticed after an instance of wow would crash. ( i still love keyclone i just needed something more robust)

you could try the symlinking route or 5 different directories etc and see if that makes a difference but i do not think it would for the problems your having.
