So MMO champ posted the 3.2.2 patch notes as is current and we have this gem. This is the single greatest nerf in this games history to me, makes me SO happy. Unfortunately FoK has ruined this season for me as a boxer but next season looks much brighter with this out of the way, took them 6 months to fix it, I was begining to wonder if they would ever fix it. FoK, in its current state, is literally the only thing in arena I feel I simply cannot win against no matter what.

Combat
- Throwing Specialization: This talent no longer causes Fan of Knives to interrupt spellcasting.

Don't get to excited till it's actually gone live, but from what I've read on these forums about FoK rogues wrecking shaman teams it did seem rather overpowered.

I really hope it will turn out this way, that interrupt is just a unfair advantage speically now when 3v3 and 5v5 will be played alot more since people cant get all their gear from 2v2 branket

If there is one class that can ruin a boxers day it must be a rogue? i mean sapp vanish blind cloak and fok and then preperation to do it all over again......

i have never head a problem with rogs and FoK, when i hear the sound or see a rog inc, i spam CH while my magmas eat him alive. Now two rogs? Or a rog and any other AE class? 8(

I have a rogue, and just could not understand why they gave an interrupt to FoK. They already have plenty of interrupts (especially when you count stuns) and they felt they needed an AoE interrupt too? Just seemed overkill.

FoK should stay simply an AoE damage effect and left at that. The damage nerf is subjective, but 30% sounds pretty reasonable.

In addition to boxing, I raid.
My raiding toon is a rogue.

Pretty much with FoK, any encounter with swarms of mobs...
Or any encounter with stationary mobs...
Top dps is an even chance between myself and a fury warrior.
It seems rather stupid that warlocks and mages cannot touch us on swarms.

The FoK interrupt spec is pretty retarded.
For pvp, it gets you a spam interrupt plus killing spree.
Pretty much a one trick pony, but way too effective.
No one else has an AoE high damage + poison snare + wound poison + spell interrupt.
For PvE play, the interrupt is pretty much useless.
The only use of the spec, is vs bunched casters.

I'll miss the damage for PvE, but 30% reduction is not the end of the world.
Especially considering rogues are not a class designed for AoE damage anyway.
It kind of sucks that the final WotLK rogue ability will be "meh" in PvE.
But it is definitely way too strong in PvP vs groups.

It's about time they threw some kind of nerf bat at rogues. I'm already seeing the outpouring of the proverbial "QQs" on the general forum and it's like mana from the heavens for us non-rogues.

You spam chainheal against a FoK rogue ?? uve never meet a "real" FoK rogue then cuz he would interrupt you nonstop:rolleyes:

I do that when I run into a rogue out in world pvp or solo, but in arenas it's a different story. it's trivial to heal through your CL and especially magma totems. Geared rogue + other melee will have your team dead before their cloak of shadows is down anyway

I was on the fast track to 2400 until the FOK problem started showing itself this season. I haven't played a game in over 3 weeks, and cancelled my accounts with reason stating "REMOVE FOK INTERRUPT NOW." I was unstoppable in s6 except against FOK rogues.

Thank God, because I refused to ever return to the game if they didn't fix this.
