The most keys i use are for my 4 mage/1 priest setup.
I got 20 keys used just for healing.
I still got keys unused on my G15. So i'd say go for the G15. Im not sure about G19, wasn't there less keys on it?
EDIT: Useful picture http://rwlabs.com/images/articles/lo...ch_g19_021.jpg
I can't see why you'd want so many keys, I guess it can be handy at times, but I don't have the need for it :)
I'd go with the G19 personally, since it got other pimp features and it's kewl xD
Strange thing is on the logitech site, it says something about 6 keys for G15 only: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ke.../3498&cl=us,en
Yours looks actually like a mixture of G15 and G11 to me, the G11: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ke...s/285&cl=us,en
x-keys and logitech could be used at the same time or do you have to stick to one of those only? And I still got my 2 feet just hanging around under my table. I need like 5 big buttons to bang them with my feet whenever I need a special action to be performed fast.
The first edition of the G15 has 18 keys. No idea why they dropped the number on the next version. My G15 (18 keys) has lasted me almost 7 years now i think. Cant remember exactly when I got it hehe. One of my best buys along with the n52. G19 is WAY over priced for a color lcd...has some cool features but who really wants to spend that much on a keyboard when you can get much fancier toy's for same price.
I have a Logitech G13 with 24 programmable keys, and a thumb stick that is immensely nice (once used to move characters this way). If it would break, I would buy another one immediately.
Which toys are you referring to? Other producer of cool keyboards?Quote:

Thought of that one also. This more comparable to X-Keys I guess. Would like to know what is better though.Quote:

I have the newer version of the G15 (since it's now pretty much impossible to find that original version with 18 keys). While it does have only 6 keys, it has a set of three small buttons above the G-keys that can shift between three different settings for G1-G6. So, although it costs an additional button press, you still have access to 18 different keymaps. It's forced me to prioritze a bit more so that I can put the most used items on a setting that I can just leave up and only have to switch the setting for less important functions, but it's still pretty useful.Quote:

OLD SCHOOL G15 (18key) is the best dam part of my whole setup. They are awesome, durable as hell, and are perfect for multiboxing. I use the old G15 and absolutely love it. No moving your hand over to an xkeys (which wastes time and takes you away from your movement keys). I know a lot of people use the Xkeys and they look great... but I just cant justify having 2 separate keypads when I can hit all 18 macro buttons without ever leaving homebase (WASD/1234). They do not make these anymore, however - keep your eyes on ebay and you can surely snag one for a good price (keep in mind original price for these was 99bucks... and thats 4 years ago).
The G11 has 18 keys still ( no lcd ) i never use the lcd anyways on my old G15
Well for the 200 you spend on the g19 you can actually get say the g11 (same amount of keys as the old g15). Then say with the 130 you save you could get something like xkey foot pedals. I can almost guarantee you will use the peddles way more than the lcd.Quote:

G11 = 18 G-keys (no LCD)
G15 v1 = 18 G-keys + mono LCD
G15 v2 = 6 G-keys + mono LCD
G19 = 12 G-keys + color LCD
The LCD is pretty much useless, although it can be handy for secondary information display. I have a G15 v1, have had it for a couple years at least, and I have never used the LCD, but I make good use of the G-keys (a couple examples -- labelled pictures -- of my G15 layouts: http://www.lavishsoft.com/wiki/index...h_G15_Keyboard ).
If I were choosing between those 4 keyboards to purchase one today, I would get the G11. The others have inflated cost because of the useless LCD, and then they gimp the number of buttons.
So I concur, G11 and if you need more controls, add devices from there (x-keys, n52, whatever). Foot pedal is a pretty good idea since it requires no hand movement BUT is pretty expensive for only having 3 buttons.
I had the only G15, version 1, with 18 G-keys. I thought it was a great keyboard, and used it for everything. About a month or so ago, the spacebar and some other keys started to lose quite a bit of their action. I think I may have had that keyboard for 3 years or possibly longer, and it saw some very hard use, so I got my money out of it.
The new G11 is basically the same exact thing, feels the same, and works exactly the same as my old keyboard. It has 18 G-keys like my original G15. It does not have the LCD which I never used.
I had to order the G11 online, I've never seen one in one a store shelf in my area. It's a great piece of equipment, and I would probably pay even more than I have to for it.
I have G15 v1 and G13. But I order a DX1 Ergodex because I need more keys more accessible for my hands.
I think to use the DX1 for movements and spells because he have 50 keys available. So, I can bind all my spells, movements, heals macro (6 for lesser heal, 6 for heal wave).
I order the DX1 today, I speak later about this keyboard and pictures :)
