Should I upgrade from 1.8k?

Can't find a what's new post, must be blind :P And to slow to read the pop-up ;)

I like the update, it fix a few small issues I would see every now and then.

you can always see the message of the day by right-clicking on the tooltray icon.
to see what's new, you can also check out the dev notes on the main site (link )

fyi... if you are updating, you might as well go for the alpha (link ). i haven't pushed it to full release yet as i am looking to add a few more things before doing that.

Upgrades are always nice :D

Thanks for the information, I've actually never updated Keyclone - Will it retain my configs etc?

it should... but if 'never' == 3 years... well...

all your configs are in the keyclone.ini file. just make a copy and if you have to, you can always copy iit back.

also, grab the alpha (it'll make your maximizer setup trivial)

Have a problem runing 1.9h alpha.

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect......

What am i doing wrong? BTW, only one file (keyclone.exe) was extracted from the package downloaded. Is this correct?

actually, no. there should be about 46 files.

download it again, run the exe... set the destination folder (since you aren't using the default)... then just hit 'unzip'.
(you should also find keyclone.exe and drop a shortcut on y our desktop... makes life easier)

Downloaded again from above link. Still only one file extracted. The file downloaded is only 520KB. Correct?

yes, that alpha is just the exe, sorry for the confusion.

to make it work, you should first install the current release, available here , then install the alpha over the top of it.

again, sorry for the confusion. i didn't remember that i only created the patch for the alpha, and not a full release (it was 2am)
