Just in case folks wondered...

Is there a source for this or is it speculation? A game this large chances are pretty good some of them do multibox. Just wondering where you got your info.
Edit: Lol. Just realized I had read this at work where the pictures and video are disabled. Now that i am at home I see the convo you had. lol.
Hes probably saying it because GMs using their own special game client and are in mutliple characters on many many servers at the same time xD
Thats why if you ever go to GM island, you will see 3 or 4 GMs standing in each other doing nothing :)
I was talking to a GM about a RAF issue and he said its alot of fun to take both accounts into town and grant the free levels because people think you are hacking.
He sure wasn't wrong about that. I made sure I did it within view of plenty of people on purpose. Made for a good laugh :PQuote:

Yeah -- it's fun even if people aren't standing there to watch it. Go somewhere that you don't usually see level 1s, then start chatting with the zone about being level 1 there, and ask how long it might take to get to 60. Then after people check /who, level up and ask how long that was ;) Makes for some interesting whispers
When I first started multiboxing I reported myself, just to reassure myself that this was legal, and the GM who responded was also a multiboxer. Not only that, but he said that the night before he had setup one of his coworkers multibox setups. So, my first day multiboxing I found out GM's do this as well.
Now, it would interesting to know how many actually do since all Blizz employees get three WoW accounts...
The last time I heard about GM's multi-boxing, it was brought up that Blizzard Employees get 3 free WoW accounts as a perk. Why wouldn't they multi-box?
when gm support theyre not ingame!
they use somthing like icq!
Another question might be; How many blizz GMs are on these forums??
whether lurking or actively engaging....
3 free accounts hey? /jealous
pretty sure any gm's consider beeing a gm as there job, if they multibox it is there hobby, so why should the come out and say hi i am a gm.
if they are here on this forum they are so becous i is a great mb communicty not becous they are gm's

I'm a fairly sure I know of at least one member here who is some sort of employee at Blizzard. It's a long-time, fairly active member, too. I'm not going to say who, because I'm sure they would rather not be exposed (if it's true).
Sorry about that, what can I say...I'm a tease! :P
A better question is....who is not a gm?Quote:

I have no doubt that there is at least one employee that reads the forums here. I don't base this off any particular user, but off of the statements I've seen made by Ghostcrawler about devs reading forums. While we aren't the largest wow community by any sense, we are the largest boxing community and given how long the community has been around it's sure to have been noticed by a dev or GM. Heck, Vyndree has prolly recruited more employees than anyone else with her forum posts ;)
As a dev (not a Blizz dev) I want any and all information I can get about people that use my programs. Forums like this are great because people are honest about what they see as problems and features. Add in that the community tends to resolve the issues that aren't legitimate and you have a immense reasource for devs to read as they see fit.
To those of you that might be Blizzard devs/employees, I'm thinking about relocating to California and Irvine sounds nice this time of year. Let's talk.

Nice shameless plug Souca.
When my roommate did the RAF leveling...
He granted 30 odd levels from one toon to another, and then logged a second toon on for another 30 odd levels of granting.
The toon in question was leveled to 2nd, almost 3rd level and then granted to 60th.
He had someone send him a tell, asking how this was done, because the guy wanted to level the same way.
My roommate responded with: It's the current event, there are ultra rare herbs around called Feycrack. Clicking these, will have your toon level up. They're very rare, but I've been farming them all week. The guy was extremely interested and wanted to know where they were found, and if my roommate had any extra's which he'd be willing to sell etc.
It was extremely funny to watch.
