What have you done multi-boxing which was silly that you wouldn't have done SBing?
I probably went about 10 minutes before I realized my druid was dead. Pain the butt to get back to him too.

Probably a classic mistake. Questing in Stormpeaks and Icecrown I have one multiple occasions while flying around seen an herb on one of my characters. I dive down on just one character and pick it then mount up again and watch my other character fall to his death.
I will often complete a kill quest then realise that I forgot to pick it up on one character X( - and have to run it again
I started....
On my warlock pet quests i didn't notice that when you accept with one he does some dumb event. I thought my auto accept worked on all my toons.... the only thing worse than warlock pet quests is having to do them again. I don't even use the succubus anymore :(
You know that dot you get from the last boss in HOL?
It's this Static Charge that stays on you for a few seconds, then jumps from one toon to the next, and it never stops.
Well, being on my DK's, I left it on myself, and just laughed at the idea, and played with it in front of the Alliance, Blah blah blah.
The Dot can kill you, but I had RUn tap, so I would just tap, and it healed me and everything was fine.
Then I went to the Gryphon and picked my flight back to Dalaron.... (You see where this is going?)
Mid flight, they all die... Sonnava bitch...
mine was allowing a friend of the guild to join me on a run of UP.
I hate UP because I find it very hard to multibox, the guy raids with his guild and has several peices of 25 man raid gear on his ret pally, I of course have a prot pally and don't have access to anything in the 25 mans
I kind of wondered why he would want to do UP since there couldn't possibly be anything from there he needs and I could definately use the one handed sword. He even made mention that I would probably want the sword.
I didn't really want to run with him but I figured what the heck, we have different specs.
I sword dropped and I rolled need for my main spec
so when he rolled need on the sword for his off spec and won it :cursing: ....
of all of the reasons I multibox came home at that moment.
I have never felt so stupid in all of my life. for my one moment of weakness when I agreed to run UP with him. I guess no good deed goes unpunished.
What Boss is this? Sounds like a very funny way to play wintergrasp :PQuote:

I forget to make sure all my alts have either picked up a quest or got the quest item. The worst feeling is getting to the quest giver and seeing 4 question marks. WTF?
Oh, all 4 of my alts got stuck in the elevator in UC and slipped through the crack and fell to their death. I started rezzing them and they would just fall back down as my pally sat in the elevator. Some dude was like, what are you doing, I started to explain but was like, forget it.
On a near daily basis I forget to mute while typing and drop a full team of fire elementals for no reason.
Most days I lose a toon and don't notice for considerable periods of time.
On more than one occasion I've been one keypress away from broadcasting my account passwords into trade.
Pretty dum, huh?

The most stupid thing is to let a stranger into your MB group as they beg for joining an instance JUST for completing quests. Free for all is used as I always use my main to pick things up. Guess what, all last boss's loots were picked up in 0.5 second. Try to complain? "Oh, I thought I won the rolls, else how could I pick them up?"
So yes, the most stupid thing is to trust a stranger. We can live by ourselves so let that be.
Hah! Amen.Quote:

I hate when I have the keys active and I respond in General Chat with all five toons at once. I'm the only real boxer I know on my server (Alleria) so it brings a lot of questions.
On my Mage/Druid/Shaman set I often play the mage alone, so his #1 key is blink when solo, and a follow macro when in the group. You can't imagine how many times I've started an instance and blinked that poor bastard into a set of elites when I was just lining the toons up because I forgot to switch the icons.
On my newer group, three pallies, I had fought long and hard to get to the BRD bar when I was more than a bit under level. I was so excited to get to plugger, to unload bags and bags full of greys, that when I pushed #1 after selling. I forgot it was follow on toon's #2 and #3 but taunt on #1 and got a good portion of the bar to beat my ass in exchange. I never did finish BRD, level 58 now. That rez run just isn't worth it . . .
The thought of it is pretty funny for people who have no idea what multi-boxing is. I had all 5 guys ding at once and one dude was like, wtf? I also always accidently make them all jump at once which is annoying cause I don't like to bring attention to myself if I don't have to.Quote:

The first day I started I hit 12 and went to Org to grab the FP and wep training etc, than ran all the way to xroads when i realized I lost one of my toons lol.
That's my biggest thing (and possibly the most annoying).Quote:

Also, finally decided to go for epic flyers x5 on these girls, and I'm doing the quests in Icecrown that I'd originally deemed too annoying when I was leveling. Picked up the quest to gather those 3 pages to make whatever that book of the dead is, and it's a low drop. Finally get the pages, head back to the airship (which itself is an epic journey with econo flyers) and one of the shaman only had 2 pages. :cursing:
Same here. Grrrr!Quote:

So what happens when you die mid Flight? Do they fall to the ground right away? Do they stop dead at the next stop or make it all the was to the destination dead?Quote:

Fly half way across a zone only to realize follow broke. Then have to fly all the way back
One word: elevators. Between Thousand needles, shattrath and thunder bluff, I bet I've spent 200g in repairs from "Britney" moments like forgetting to unstick my autorun key or lagging just that tiny bit and watching the train go flying off into splattsville. /groan

Arc Lightning: single target attack dealing ~4k damage plus a chance to debuff the target. The debuff deals another Arc Lightning to all players within 10 yards (that is 4k damage plus the chance to get the debuff)
Lol, mine just dropped mid air and died, the bodies get taken back to the nearest flight master.Quote:

You fly when you're dead in that area, so I had to fly BACK to the flight master, lol.
A while ago, I finally leveled up my four shimmies to LV80, and started to farm the gears and REPs in Heroic. After a few days, I realized that one of my shimmies’ equipped-trinkets were all gone. 8| I searched all the bags and banks, and did not find the same trinkets as other shimmies’. I thought I sold them by accident, and I was so pissed about myself for not paying attention while I used the addon to sell useless items. Anyway, I pulled 2 lower rank trinkets from the bank (yes, I have a habit to save all the old gears, don’t ask me why  ). A few days later, I found that both trinkets were gone too. I was like….WTF. :cursing: So, I took the addon out. Same night, I found one trinket was gone after I nailed H Gundark, but the Venture coin trinket was still there. ?( I was pulling my hair out for that moment. I just couldn’t figure out what caused it. Finally, I went through my bank and found the last useable trinket and put it on him. While I was doing H UK later, and I paid extra attention to the shammy. During the first pull, I found that the shammy was starting “dischanting” during the fight, and I immediately stopped it. Then, I checked all the action icons, and found that shammy has the self-made “disenchant gloves” macro on one of the icons. Since I didn’t have those gloves in his bags anymore, and the macro only work half way: it starts the disenchant order.... I didn’t think that was the case a while ago. Then, I suddenly realized that our lazy/easy attack macro for shimmies:
/use 13
/use 14
/assist party1
…..
Now you know why my trinkets were all gone except the Venture coin trinket because the vendor one is NOT disenchantable.
Even after so many Heroic runs, and gearing up my shimmies, this poor shammy still stuck with the item level 105 trinket… since this is the only best left over trinket that he can use….. it is remarkable … for my epic failure

You sir....... you win the prize. I feel bad for ya....
I lol'd irl. Hilarious :) (Sorry about your trinkets though, haha)
My warlocks are 70 and I haven't done the felhunter or succubus quests.... I'm demonology spec too... i just get by with felguards x3...Quote:

Wow. Sorry, but the trinkets one is pretty hilarious. Since he wasn't doing DPS, what was his SPS (Shards per seconds)? :D
When I first started boxing and was just starting to learn the ropes, I was dueling someone in crossroads. I didn't know how to use the "mute" functionality of keyclone yet, but after I finished my duel, I was shocked to discover that somehow, one of my toons ended up in ratchet. I was talking to my friend in vent when this happened and to this day, I'm not sure exactly how one of them managed to run off that far, let alone end up in ratchet.
The more recent one I've been doing lately is on my main. He's an engineer and I used the flexweave underlay to make my cloak a parachute cloak. I can't tell you how many times I've killed unsuspecting ally with it by using Thunderstorm to knock them off their mount, then hitting the cloak to parachute to safety. I knew one of these days it would catch up to me, and finally it did. A 79 hunter was camping my druids (59 at the time) in hellfire, so i logged in on my shammys and proceeded to camp him for a while. He finally managed to mount up and fly and then was spitting on me. He had no clue that he was going to be dismounted, so I thunderstormed him off his mount and killed him again a few times. The next time, he was trying to fly evasively away from me, but couldn't out run my epic flyers with his tard mount. This time, when I dismounted to hit my TS, I knocked him off as I planned, but didn't realize my other shammys weren't muted, so they all fell to their death. Big oops there. LOL
I would suggest that any engineering shammy make that cloak and have fun with it, cause you know it's just a matter of time before they nerf it.
When I first got my DK team Titansteel destroyers, I flew up to Ebon Hold to use the runeforge there to inscribe runes on them. Unfortunately for me - on my enchanting toon, the disenchant button is right next to the incribe rune button. I was clicking through on each toon to do the rune for each mace and misclicked on the last one...and didn't pick up the mistake until I had sharded it...doh! A rather expensive mistake... :pinch:
Thing 1) Click to move enabled on leader
Thing 2) Quest givers in high places
These 2 things have probably caused me at least a dozen group deaths so far.

When I first started to Mbox I went to duel someone and thought to myself "I have 5 characters this should be easy" 4 duels later I worked out why I could not attack with all 5
I recently ran my 80's through BRD for the achievement, it felt SO GOOD to aggro the entire upper bar area and arcane explode them all, then do the same for the lower level. :) That one laugh that cycles over and over grates on my nerves!Quote:

I've done the same as everyone else - dismounted while in flight in Icecrown, had toons follow off cliffs, had toons drown because the underwater breathing wore off or I missed one, forgot to pick up or turn in quests, finding out one of my toons doesnt have a flight point so they have to run or swim to get it, wasting tons of time...i have a couple gnomes, and they get caught on everything - doors, stairs, grass, so that always leads to much mirth.
The worst is when something screws up, and one of my followers casts at mobs I *don't* want at the moment. I just did that in Tanaris over the weekend, I was killing bugs, when my shaman decides (for reasons of his own, which he won't share with me) to aggro another bug of his own choosing a ways off, which dragged 5-6 more bugs on me, and in my panic I ran into another pack, next thing you know it was a solid wall of red on top of the team (those stupid little minions were everywhere) and it was instagib time.
I swear to go, the blizz devs put an RNG into our macros or targeting, just to make it interesting for us. My followers arent set up to target until and unless I tell them to with an /assist, how he changed target, I still havent worked out - and it's not the first time it's happened, my other team had that happen too.
Oh well. I kinda like random elements, it keeps you on your toes - and the incident made me stop and rework my "oh, shiiiit!" macros!
The Harpoon surfing quest off the cliff with /follow still on :P
Ouch - you win ;(Quote:

I really am going insane I think. . .
Damn, if my enchanter (priest) did that to me, I'd boot her from the group and spec the shaman resto. Sub the warlock back into my group to replace the DPS and run for a couple weeks that way.
I think she'd think twice about doing that again.
lmao i have done that so much .. :D .. but i think my biggest fook up was 5 boxing AV bg running all the way to bal (im horde) and realiseing all my toon's were still in the start tunnel O.oQuote:

was in zangarmash, doing some of the underwater quests.
Baby starts crying so i move all my toons to the surface (no mobs there) and go check the baby/change her nappy.
I come back to my screen 5 min later and my main is still happily floating, alive, but the remaining of the team (2 yards below surface) all drowned :(
