5 Rogues and talent advice needed
I RAF'd 5 rogues to lvl 60 several months ago and decided to pick them back up and get them to northrend. I'm trying to decide what best talent tree I should go with. I never played rogues before this and am not that good with them yet.
When I logged them on I found I had to pick talents again. I guess a patched added some new abilities. I went with combat for "Killing Spree" but haven't been able to use that ability yet. Just got them setup again last night.
If there is anyone that is familiar with rogues I would appreciate some advice. What spec would you go with if you were multiboxing with them and why?

I'm keeping things simple for now and pretty much just have two buttons (well, 4 if you count they are FTL setup). Stealth and then my melee macro which uses /cast and then castrandom. Shadowstep just rocks. omfg...can't wait to do some bgs with these guys.
Yeah at level 76 I'm still finding things are pretty simple. Rogues dont have that many skills in comparison to some other clases lol :P and I have yet to try out a BG but I'm more of a World PvP person myself.

Do you plan on doing areana with them? I was talking with a guildy yesterday about it. 3v3 would just be soooo unfair. Stealth/Shadowstep kill healer, vanish...stealth/shadowstep kill one more and it is then game over. I am wondering if 5v5 might be fun in arena.
Yeah I'll prolly do arena each week for the points. Chances are I'll lose every single game but it will be just like with my old team. I'll get owned by overgeared teams. Next season comes round and I get my 'welfare' gear. I own the overgeared teams :P

For the record Killing Spree is the most annoying skill in WoW for a boxer. As of the last time I spec'd combat, it not only breaks follow but also removes that player from /focus in all ways. So you have to re /focus before /follow or anything like that. PITA
I'm still running an old ass /cast [target=main-target] system so meh :) as for the follow stopping, as it stands I dont have /follow at the end of my attack macros as I prefer my alts to stop moving when they attack until I hit follow again. May seem strange but its just my preferred play style atm.

Walk up in stealth; 5x Tricks of the trade in a circle (all 5 toons get the benefit 15% dmg); 4x garrote 1x cheapshot; 5x killing spree; should raise your bleed + poison damages by 20% along with the 15% from TotT, with all that flying around you could potentially drop half a team of clothies in 1 attack.
With tricks of the trade at the moment I've tried it and I think one rogue will always miss out on it as when you cast it on someone who cast it on you one of them cancels the other out, so when I'm doing old school raids I can cast five on the main tank for 75%more damage or when I'm leveling I can cast four on my main rogue for 60% more damage. But yeah you're right even with just one rogue having the buff atm its still around 25-30k damage worth of dots (inc deadly poison)

move ruthlessness to improved eviscerate. How often are you going to build combo points AND use a finishing move without killing something ;)
Its mainly for the dks and other tank classes as direct damage seems pretty ineffective. Premeditation + ruthlessness means Ill get a full damage garrote/rupture on them straight off the bat. You can then /vanish and watch them run in circles till they die.
edit: forgot to mention I'm a bit torn up at the moment. I have a few points left on my way to eighty and I'm not sure if I want to get cheat death or honour among thieves.
I also just remembered they changed feint recently so I looked it up on thottbot and they gave it a 50% aoe damage reduction as well /palmface (woulda come in handy last night, was vsing guildie shaman boxer in the arena and the totems absolutely slaughtered me)
