I like monitors, and lots of them, what i need is a videocard only taking up one Pci-E slot and and not covering any other slots, it needs to have 4 HDMI or DVI-D outputs
My best bet so far is Quadro NVS 450, but is it capable of 5 wows

I'd say no because Quadro's are meant too be for businesses and stuff like that. And there is no other cards that will have 4 DVI outputs or HDMI. Haven't really any benchmarks on a Quadro though. :/Quote:

EDIT: Just looking at the stats of that thing I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's gonna do worse than a 9500GT.
thats what i'm worrying about... but ATM i think i'm 5 boxing on a 8500Quote:

9500GT is only a little bit better than the 8500GT though. But yeah, think the 4850X2 and the 4870X2 has 4 DVI outputs.Quote:

i found out that i'm playing on a 9500GS
and there is no 4870 X2 with 4 outputs
Playing on a Laptop then? Hmm, yeah only the 4850X2 then. But I guess if 2 4850 can handle 5 WoW's the X2 can too. Dunno how well it'd do with 4 30" though. :PQuote:

Wotlk was too much of a hog for my previous q6600 setup so I had to add a 2nd pc. My original pc is running 1 lcd in crossfire on 2 3870 512meg cards. My new pc is running 3 wows on 2lcd with the card I linked. If you had a powerful pc you can run wow on 4 LCD monitiors with that card. I have my fps capped at 50fps on the pc that runs the card I linked. If you are wanting more than 2 DVI outs on 1 card the one I linked is your only & best option.
Does anyone see any problems with having a HD 4850 X2 and HD 4870 X2 "Crossfired" and then running 4 17" Samsung SyncMaster 743B in 1024 x 1280 off the HD 4850 X2 and a 30" Samsung SyncMaster 305T in 2560 x 1600 (and later on maybe a projector in the same resolution) offthe HD 4870 X2
From what I understand ... WoW doesn;t utalize crossfire or SLI AT ALL. Like zero support for it.Quote:

On top of that, I highly doubt you can Crossfire 2 different cards, it wouldn't work.
If you're concerned about multiple displays, either get a GTX285 or GTX295. Buy an OC'd version.
You wont be able to run that many monitors if you are using crossfire. You should call sapphire and ask them about mixing the 4850 and 4870. Make sure you have enough space to fit the 4850 card. That card is pretty long.Quote:

they only have 2 outputs each... i like to have the best... and if i want 6 outputs on only 2 cards i have to get 1 with 4 outputs were the only "real" option is the Sapphire HD4850 X2. and from my understanding mixing ATI and Nvidia in the same comp in no good ideaQuote:
