NEW TALENTS better than you think

OK, so think of this, say you are multiboxing with 5 shamans.. and you have this new spell called frozen power.. Which freezes the target for 5 seconds.. from 15+ feet away... Now this doesnt look so hot, untill you notice that there is a thing called round robin.. This only shoots this on one toon then the next.. next.. and so on every time you press it.. So, essentially you could click this on a pvp target 5 times every 5 seconds to have them frozen for 5seconds x 5 which is 25 seconds.. and that well = dead. This will help alot in the multiboxing world, and I cant wait to go out and do it. Also, the talent that reduces the CD of frost shock (which freezes them) willl help you get more of these off.. This would create a constant hold on someone because all the CD will be up before the person can get it.. Now for arena you could select different people to freeze the team and do some huge chain lighting to pawn em up.
Hear are the main things I think will benifet mutliboxers
Shaman:

* Bloodlust/Heroism: Cooldown reduced to 5 minutes, but Sated and Exhausted now last 10 minutes.
* Poison Cleansing Totem and Disease Cleansing Totem have been merged into "Cleansing Totem." Cleansing Totem pulses every 3 sec, down from 5

Enhancement
* New Talent: Frozen Power: Increases the damage done by your Frostbrand Weapon if it is enchanted on your main-hand weapon by 10/20%, and your Frost Shock has a 50/100% chance to root the target in Ice for 5 sec. when used on targets at or further than 15 yards from you.
* Toughness: No longer increases your armor. Instead, this talent now increases your total Stamina by 2/4/6/8/10%.

Elemental

* New Talent: Booming Echoes- Reduces the cooldown of your Flame Shock and Frost Shock spells by an additional 1/2 sec., and increases the direct damage done by your Flame Shock and Frost Shock spells by an additional 10/20%.

That's so cool! I wanna read up on these, but I have to get ready for work.
You could round robin it, or even have your cast macros set to:

But the only weakness I can imagine (from what we've seen in the past) is since you're talking arenas, there will probably be diminishing returns like with any crowd control measure. After one application it'll probably cut the duration of the immobilization in half, and after 3 they'll probably be immune for about 15 seconds. So get whatever you need to get done done in those first few hits!

Sated on BL = 10mins, wtf why? I dont play my shamans much anymore, but Im kinda meh about these buffs.

The Blood lust hit seems moderately annoying, but I guess I'm not affected with my just one shaman anyway.

The sated change is a HORRIBLE nerf for PvE.

These days I generally hit each boss while still having around a minute left on sated. I can choose to either wait for sated to end and then use bloodlust on the next boss, or just fight the next boss without bloodlust.

Looks like after 3.1 I'll only be using bloodlust on every other boss (fortunately I don't need BL to beat any bosses at this point but still, this is lame as hell).

That's how I do my thunderstorm, really handy to keep melee away from your group. That bloodlust thing I think is a major nerf. That sucks, especially since I'm using it every boss fight :(

Very meh tbh. The only good things are:
Glyph of TS reduces CD.
Toughness somewhat more useful.

Yeh, sadly that is a debuff for pve, but its great for pvp! because u can maybe have 3 shamans with thunderstorm and 2 with the freeze so that u can kick them back then freeze them

I'll happily take a Nerf to BL to get Improved Stormstrike and Cleansing Totems

I'm forever dropping the wrong dam totem for what is needed, mana regen for my opener and subsequent damage booster yes please
Toughness will just be nice for more health and the reduced threat for sprit weapons makes me think about giving my Slave Elemental shaman a deep visit to the Enhancement tree (thinking 50/21)

I hate to burst peoples bubble, but Frost Shock freeze effect has diminishing returns. :p

This buff is kinda nice for a solo-shaman player in pvp. (In my opinion still not enough to gap the bridge with the other classes though.)

But for multiboxers I see no practical application in this.

New Glyphs would be a good addition, at this point in time I've had a rather crappy opinion of Shammy glyphs...

Agreed, very annoying, particularly for timed heroics like VH or CoS where popping Heroism/BL every boss can help a lot with just getting through the instance. I'm like you, I don't really need Heroism/BL anymore but it's certainly nice. Earlier on in my gear progression it was more important, however, and so this is a significant PvE nerf for shaman teams.

You lose the debuff when you die right?

If so, I can see it now:

the mana and health totems stacking was too good to be true for us, would have been a nice buff for solo shamies though 8\

Correct, and the stupidity of this scenario (k everyone strip naked and die) is probably our only chance that this will be replaced by a more intelligent means of preventing multiple Heroism/BL uses duing a single fight. Something more akin to potion sickness, where the debuff fading requires you both to be out-of-combat AND a 5 minute interval elapse. I ain't holding my breath, however.

They iterate heavily on PTRs so I wouldn't be suprised to see a ton more changes in coming weeks. For Ulduar, its very probable that there is 10-15 mins of trash between each boss, even 5-7 mins of trash between bosses means lust will be available by the time the next boss is 50% so not a raid nerf at all, except in the case of 25 man long boss fights. The shortening of the c/d to 5 mins means in 10 mans you will have it up more often after wipes.

And really lust is most useful when you are first downing bosses to get that extra oomph in, once things are on farm you don't even really need it anymore, it just makes the fight go by a little bit faster.

I'm really most suprised by some of the DK and pally nerfs, DKs seem to have gotten hit hard, especially with the aura and dual wield changes. We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out. Also really bummed that the profession changes are pretty crap right now, further reinforcing the idea that JC is the uber profession.

Toughness = pvp buff

Frost Power or whatever is 27points in enhancement = worthless

Bloodlust Nerf = Lame ... great I can use it sooner if we wipe but no more double lust on boss fights /wrists.

Ele Needs some pvp survivability buffs BAD... Glad to see Enhancement getting buffed that is needed but WTB ELE love.

I'm guessing the bloodlust change is so that when groups with 1 shaman wipe the cooldown will be up 5 minutes faster than before. It might also be to stop forcing groups to have 2 shamans for maximum bloodlust uptime. This is a buff to 1-shaman groups, and a nerf to those with more.

For the most part, if you're getting to raid bosses within 10 minutes of each other you don't need bloodlust. Having a BL at the end of one boss and the start of the next could cause this to be a problem, which realistically could happen for patch > grobbulous. Also Grobbulous > Gluth is another culprit due to having no trash in between. Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad are both longer than 5 minutes and now don't benefit from having a second shaman, but are exactly the same as with one. Even though ending Saph with a bl would mean it's not up for the start of KT, but you want to save it for KT phase 3 anyway. There's no reason to end Saph with BL, but it could happen on an 11 minute kill.

There are a few times where it could hurt in 5-mans, but how many 5-mans are run with more than 1 shaman, and how many of those wouldn't dominate without the extra bl? Worst case it causes you one wipe on each boss, and if you're really afraid of wiping, just die to get rid of sated and reincarnate.

For overgeared groups(ie wiping isn't an issue) with two bosses next to each other, I don't see how it's worth the time to die+res.
