Whats your favorite setup of classes in WoW?
5x shammy just kick ass in pvp and pve
I'd vote, but I cant find the Paladin/Mage/Mage/Shaman/Priest alternative =|
I'm a fan of :
5x Sham
1Priest 4 Locks
1Prot Pal 4 Priests
or my other combination that I do with lots of alt tabbing.
Druid, Paladin, Priest, Hunter, Mage

im having fun with my setup, not very simple though so it may become more and more nerve wrackign as i get more skills to have to use.

Yeah, bit of a deja vu going on here. I assume this is for PvE though (?), but since I can't find my favourite (tankadin, priest, lock, 2 mages) I won't vote :)

Reasoning:
Damned good stamina buffs:
- Palla blessings and seals
- Totem buffs
- Improved PW:Fortitude
- PwS
- Possibility of Bloodpact from Affliction Lock.
Excellent/wipe/res/heal options.
Shammy main heals, priest and palla can heal in emergencies.
Ankh for self res on shammy, soulstone on Palla and Priest. DI option in emergencies. Make one of the locks an engineer for even more utility :D
Great DPS if well geared, only problem might be vs Shadow resistant/immune mobs. Priest helps to maximise lock damage with shadow debuffs, whilst lock curse of shadows improves the priests damage.
Great mana regen - Seal of wisdom, Blessing of wisdom, mana tide, vampiric touch, dark pact.
Crowd control is ok, with a potential 2x seduce, a decent demonology offtank if required, shackle, banish, stoneclaw totem etc.
Reasonably easy to control.... Dot cycles on the locks and priest can be synched to a large extent. Pally can focus on tanking, and simple heal macros for the shammy manage the heals.
Another variation on this model would be to switch out the priest for a mage, spec the mage fire, and respect both locks to Destro/Demo and Demo/Destro, and use the mage and curse of elements to maximise fire damage.

5x druids intrigues me though.
I'm levling 4 locks(ud) + a resto shaman(orc). I am considering switching my shaman to a priest, but I really want to try out bloodlust + wrath of air + 4xseed of corruption on an enemy raid :P
One other reason is the tremor totem. However a shaman cant run and heal, and do not have any instant heals/shields other than NS
Anyone have experience with shaman pvp healer for 4x locks?

I just love 2 things about that setup...
1) Flying in formation (What could be cooler than 5 Birds flying in formation)
2) Stealthing to Bosses
I already have a 70 druid, and love the class (I love the ability to respec to do anything)
Honestly I don't think the long-cooldown damage buff is worth losing the aoe healing capabilities of the priest, as well as prayer of mending.Quote:

I think maybe you are right. I have put some thought into it now, and priest seems more "right" for warlocks. Beeing able to dot,heal and run at the same times seems better too. My locks/shaman is at 63,5 atm, and my ud priest is lvl 60, but with full rested it should maybe not take too much time to catch up with the rest if I boost him through quests.Quote:

Well if I ever get my damn connection sorted out :'( 8k ping is not conducive to multi-boxing.
I really enjoy my Pally, Mage, Mage, Lock, Priest combo. Tons of CC, great heals, an offtank when I need it and res recovery.
Also, AoE mobs are such cake that it isn't even funny. AEx2 FTW!
