i press 1 on my main and then nothing happends on my alt.
ok does your alt have a spell on his hotkey too?
also, what are your characters? class of main? class of the slave? how many slaves? what level?
the spells are the same on each hotkey, the basic ones which come when u make the character.
class of main - Deathknight
class of slave - Death Knight
2 slaves
lvl 55 and lvl 55
also how do i make it so that when i click on a quest giver, my slave will also click on him and accept/complete the quest?
wow you're brave.
lets do this the easy way.
on your slave, i want you to do this.
target your main. right click on his portrait and set him as your focus.
now, hit ESC and press the button that says MACROS.
your macros window should pop up. make a new macro. name it "ICY" and give it the "?" Icon. hit OK.
in the macro field, type this:
thats it. now drag the icon for the macro into hotkey slot 1.Quote:
#showtooltip
/cast [target=focustarget, harm] Icy Touch
now, when you press 1, your slave dk will always cast icy touch on whoever your main dk is targeting.
this will be the basis for all of your spells.
and if you want to accept quests i think there's a macro somewhere. i forget. look at the wiki, its there. also, you can use the addon Jamba, or Multiboxer, etc.
helped?
yea thanks so much! :)
you're welcome. now my next question is... did it work?? lolQuote:

But you have to talk to the quest giver 1st.. which means you have to alttab to your slaves' windows..
No way around interacting with the person on all toons. Jamba is as good as it gets. Which is pretty good :)
this might help as well: [Keyclone] step-by-step wow macro setup (level 2.0)
Oh, so everyone alttabs to talk to quest npcs and stuff? i thought everyone knwe some easier way lol.Quote:

No, we run our WoW windows side by side and just move our mouse across to click on each char. No alt-tabbing involved.

Maximizer is sweet
i thought about doing that but i play on my main sometimes and it would be a pain in the ass to keep changing videosettings..
I use Keyclone and Jamba.
To interact with quest qivers, I will open the quest npc with my main active toon.
In keyclone, as per the tutorial on his site, I have a setting enabled called "Focus Follows Mouse".
This means, moving the mouse from one wow window to the next, makes the new window the active one, much like clicking the title bar of a window in windows.
I personally move my mouse to each of the slave windows and quickly right click on the npc there too.
Now each of my toons has right clicked on the npc to open the interaction window.
You can accomplish this by changing the active window for maximizer or by moving the mouse around, whichever works better for you.
*Edit*
If your aspect ratio's are the same for each Maximizer region, you can switch between which region is active very quickly.
For example, 400x600 slave windows and a 768x1024 master window are all x=4 and y=3 ratio windows, so the switch will be fairly quick.
If you have four regions on your screen, and they're all the same size and same ratio, the switch will be even faster.
Now that all the toons have the window open, Jamba can automate the actions for you.
Any option the first toon selects the slaves will also mirror.
Depending on settings for quest rewards, the slaves can automatically select the same as the master or if there is a choice, have to manually choose for each. If you had a 5 shaman team, it might make sense for them to all take the same reward, but a Paladin might prefer the plate reward over the mail piece the Shaman selects.
The same is true for the flight paths.
Each toon has to open the flight window, but whichever destination the master chooses, the slaves will also choose, if they know the destination.
They will never choose the wrong one by clicking wrong, provided they have the same flightpaths as the master toon.
If they don't have the flightpath, they just stand there and go no where.
