G'afternoon Slim and welcome to the forums!
i was talking with someone last night about runes of magic for the first time. we were able to get it to launch ROM but it had a sub window, so it didn't maximize right away. he had to manually add it to keyclone and then right-click/maximize/region1
after that, the keys passed as expected. there was something with tab not performing as expected, but that could have been confusion
otherwise he had them jumping and moving as far as i could tell.
oooh really?
That would make it one of the few F2P games where you can run more than one client legally.
I have the client downloaded, may have to fire it up and give it a shot.
My problem is getting two clients up and running when I set it up like the guide told me for WoW "rom1;rom2 on connect only one client show up. So I was wondering do I have to Manualy open the game client twice and then run the keyclone, so for ever action my main do my second toon will follow? I can really use a guide on RoM set up if you don't mind.
I may figure this out but... I am not sure all new to me. manual y add..
had to manualy add the log in screen..ok now open up another client and add for region2... :)
still trying. any help would be thanksful
Had to close keyclone and reopen it. now I have both accounts going :) but it is confusing as hell. How do I move both with out them losing each other? I have putted one on follow????
thats how most of it is done in WoW, so its probably best to do it that way in RoM too.Quote:

Can you run more than 2 on one pc?
Just wanted to add this... and Ill make a separate post as well.
After reading this I went over to the ROM forums and asked the question about boxing legality... I always like to know before hand if it is legal or not before I do it. Anyways, I got this response from a Frog rep, sadly it was in my PM box not in the thread, but oh well, here is the screen shot.

Well, I played RoM during its closed beta period, and I was able to run three clients on one PC. I've since come back to WoW, so I haven't had an opportunity to try this in open beta, although I really don't see why anything would have changed since then in that regard. So far, RoM is the only F2P game that I've managed to multibox with Keyclone. I felt right at home doing it since it's so similar to WoW in many ways, for better or for worse. Heh.
Although its macro system wasn't exactly robust when I was playing, I was glad that it was at least available. Granted, that was a while back, so maybe more scripts/commands have been made avaialble.
Is client keep crashing once in awhile, only in towns after porting. Boxing is fun but also kinda hard work "frustration" kinda kicks in from somewhere but who ever made this software is a fucking genius!!, no way in hell I would be able to make anything of any code in my life maybe some small code but nothing big. How the hell people can do this stuff, these are the real humans with super powers in our world. It's like they wake up one day with no history of code "programming" and just start coding up shit not knowing what they are creating till it is complete!! then boom they are rich and famous "look at bill Gates" that is how it seem to be to me.
I've been 5 boxing on RoM since last week. No issues so far, wrote some macros and a few Addons and my 5x Priest/Rogue team is doin great.
The Macro/Addon system in rom is like old school wow, very unrestricted.
I'm on Shmact Server (International English PvP)
Mushi, Musha, Mushe, Musho, Mushu
I have seen you in Logar town, last time I seen you.. you was standing near the mailbox and that is when I started searching to do the same thing you are doing and I have find my goal. Thanks to you I would have not known, I knew about boxing but did not look into it much till I seen you and that is when I thought "POWER" no need for a team I am alone with my own army I must find out more about boxing.
Thank you, Musha. :thumbsup:

How do I plan to PvP?
I've been 5 box pvping in wow for a year now, i imagine I will do it the same way. What part do you need help understanding in regards to pvp?
You know how the pk system is so how are we going to handle being all red with 5 toons? I know stealth will come in handy and will be able to kill most very fast but I don't know.
Nitro,
Could you list some of your follow, assist, group macros because I'm having some trouble getting my second toon to keep following my first and attacking on cue.
Follow macro :
/script FollowUnit("party1");
Assist macro :
/script AssistUnit("party1");
Just target enemy with TAB or mouse, then press assist macro and attack, second toon should now help you out :)
Here pic from my Multiboxing, started today...
