Just wondering if any new features will be added anytime soon.
I was wondering that too...been using it for awhile now and its been the same version the whole time. It works great and all but I'm hoping for some new features! One thing I'd love is to be able to exclude a program from round robin for each key defined! Ie: For shift+v i want to be able to exclude WoW1, for '4' I want to exclude WoW5, etc!
Also the "click the x to close keyclone" bug would be nice if it were fixed as well :)
You can setup round robin binds to do that in Innerspace quite easily. Higher learning curve, but much more configurable... this and the PIP swap speed is what sold me on the change after ~1000ish levels. If the technical aspect is too much you would be impressed at the realtime support you can get in the IRC channel as well. So if you are interested, just let me know if I can help at all.Quote:

Maybe mouse broadcasting would be nice =)
(seen on Octopus)
LOL, I think Rob is taking some MUCH needed time away from Keyclone lately. I havent seen him in irc much at all in recent months and w/o a new release mebbe he's either developing something spectacular or just doing support and chilling. Either way, version k is pretty flawless for me.
click the x to close bug? I think i recall a solution for folks who have trouble with kc process hanging around after shutting down via the x? it was from ages ago and might have something to do with administrator/permissions yadda yadda... i'm no technical guru tho, and to top it off i havent been very active myself in months.
Right click the task bar icon and select Exit... works every time, just takes a while to train yourself to do that :)Quote:

I already do that, but honestly after awhile a bug like that should just be fixed :)
Aside from that bug the only feature I'd really truly like that would make life easier would be being able to set round robin exclusions for each RR key :)
No, fire Rob a quick PM about that KC process hanging around after closing with the X. There's a real quick solution for it I am certain, he helped me with it ages ago I just cant retain that sorta info in mah tiny brainz...
I know he was thinking about doing this (don't know if he already did it), but to be able to load different profiles. Reason for this is that i 2 box and 5 box. When i want to 2 box i have to go into my directory and delete the 5 box profile and copy over a saved 2 box profile. Then when i want to do 5 box i have to delete the 2 box profile and copy of the 5 box profile... It would be cool to have a drop down or something for it to reload.
Another upgrade would be to rerun maximizer. There a times when 1 of my wow accounts just freeze up and i have to end task it. when that happens i have to close the other wow instance and close keyclone and re-open to to put all the screens in the same place.
Plus instead of having all the wow pop up right away. have a run button to have them pop up. A couple times i just want to go in and tweak a couple things in my profile but i have to wait until all 5 wow instance load before i can do anything.
If these already exist can someone show me how to do it.
copy/paste your Keyclone folder? Set one up for 5s, and the other up for 2s.
And, how do you command run Keyclone? I, for example use
a;b;c;d;e
it loads all 5 up at the same time which i like. If you dont want to load at the same time maybe just type:
a
load that wow up, dink around with your setting or something and then go KC and command
b;c;d;e
Is this what you mean?
Stupid me... Didn't think about this.Quote:

I have the auto run (or whatever it is call, not at my home computer) that loads all 2/5 of my wow instances when i open up keyclone. It would be nice to have a button to click to launch instead of the auto run feature. Maybe a button to relaunch a wow instance if it crashed and closed.Quote:

You're not stupid. While this is a workaround it doesnt mean your suggestion / request wasnt valid. Its just up to keyclone's discretion whether he thinks he wants to work on a profile system or not =PQuote:

Something else you can try is writing a batch file to copy a different version of your Keyclone.ini over the one the software is using. You'd write one for each config you want, and keep them on your desktop for easy clickin'. The one I use to start Keyclone for my hunter team goes:Quote:

copy "C:\Program Files\keyclone\IKnowThisHurts_keyclone.ini" "C:\Program Files\keyclone\keyclone.ini"

Hi
Just reformatted my rig this morning, and fired off a PM to Rob to release me a new licence. He fixed me up pretty quickly (proof he's alive lol).
My point is that when I got my KC running again and exited Igot the 'click x to exit' bug yer all talking about. Then I remembered how Rob talked me through what was wrong last time ages ago.
Make a shortcut to Keyclone.
Right Click -> Properties -> Shortcut tab -> Advanced -> click 'Run as Administrator'
Voila.
Hope this works for all/some of ya!
PB.
yup... i'm still alive (mostly)
RL work crunch cycle was pretty crazy and didn't leave much time for anything besides helping people get set up and going. it calmed down last week, so i will be getting back to keyclone on monday night (taking the weekend off).
drop me a PM with your keyclone Christmas list, and i'll check into it.
:D
I for one would love a GUI for PiP, meaning, press pip hotkey, and drag/drop windows. I like GUIs :O
Also, it would be nice for the maximizer window to show all monitors on one page, like how the windows display settings window works. Would make it easier to visualize where the windows would go.
And while I'm at it, how about a way to toggle the "focus follows mouse" so I can turn it off occasionally. Sometimes I have a window pop on the monitor in front of my wows, and if it's not close enough to the edge, the wow window goes in front of it, and i miss it.
I just love this program. I will probably buy another license soon, as running 6 on one computer is way too taxing. 5 is just fine, but #6 just pushes it over the edge. And the way windows handles monitors, I can't put wow windows on more than 2 monitors, so I've got screen space I'm not utilizing, which I could be if I used my old computer to run a wow or 2.
You're kidding, right? I have a Pentium Quad with 4 gigs of ram, a 9800 GX2, 9800 GTX, 2 x 17" monitors and a 46" wide screen 1080p TV I use for my main display, all on Vista 32 (Ya, I know. I plan to get 4 more gigs and vista 64) and I run WoW on ALL my screens at the same time.Quote:

Doesn't work for me. I have to task manager out of Keyclone every time. Also, don't know if anyone else has this problem, but it doesn't open up for me after about 5 minutes...it still works, but if I want to edit an option, I have to close it and then open it again because I can't bring it to front.Quote:
