AOE pwr-lev 2 toons 1-60 in 1.5 days
Ive seen different threads on power leveling but I came up with my own system and havent seen any other quite like it so here it is. It took me 1.5 days played, but some of that time was spent experimenting with diff ways of aoeing, so it will probably go faster for you. Also keep in mind with one of the toons at 60, it will have 30 free levels to grant to a toon on the other acct. Do this again with another 2, and its 5 toons from 1-60 in 3 days played.
If you can tri-box, and can take advantage of the recruit-a-friend x3 bonus exp, and you hate doing quests like me, here's a quick tutorial for ye.
First, you need a hi-level toon that can AOE, with good gear. I havent tried this with anything but a mage, so I do not know the effectiveness of other classes, especially with 3.0.2 tweaks.
Next you need 2 accts that are linked via the recruit-a-friend deal from Blizzard. This means when toons from those accts are grouped together and within 1 level of each other, any exp they gain is tripled.
Create a toon on each linked acct. Start up your 3 instances of WoW, with the 2 toons and your mage. Take them to the following places to exp grind:
Levels / Zone or instance
1-15 / {Westfall, coordinates 30,32} Defias mobs here spawn instantly when you kill them. fastest way i determined was to ice lance them, only one lance needed to kill each one. this seemed to work faster then trying to gather them up on a mount and then aoeing them all at once.
16-30 / {Stockades} - [ spec arcane to maximize damage for Arcane Explosion ] put alts on follow, run through entire instance arc exploding everything, use Mage Armor for extra mana regen, reset instance when done and repeat
31-40 / {Razorfen Downs} - [ spec arcane to maximize damage for Arcane Explosion ] again put alts on foloow, run through entire instance arc exploding everything, use Mage Armor for extra mana regen, reset when done
41- 45 / {Zul Farrak} - [ Arcane or Frost spec with Imp Blizz / Shat Barrier and any talents that reduce chilled targets, increase chill time, and maximize frost damage ] - stage alts at various points, use mount to gather up mobs, ride to location within exp range of alts usually around a corner to break LOS of caster mobs, then either arc explode when mobs arrive or Ice Barrier which will auto Frost Nova when broken, then Blizzard, another Frost Nova if needed, then Blizzard until all dead, reset instance when done and repeat
45-60 / {Strat Dead} - [ Frost spec with Imp Blizz / Shat Barrier and any talents that reduce chilled targets, increase chill time, and increase frost damage ] - all you have to do here is Blizzard each group until dead, you will take down first 3 groups in room past first gate, then head left, clear the 5 groups in that area composed of elites and non-elites, be aware that 2-3 elites patrol, so try to hit a group when the patroliing mob is amongst them, then finish up with the 2 remaining groups of 3 elites by agroing them together, frost nova, then blizzard until dead. these are the only groups you will take down, so reset the instance at this point and repeat
Thats it. Boring for some, tho I prefer it to questing because I can watch TV or a movie while doing it. If the moderator believes this has been extensilvey covered elsehwere, do what thou wish with this post. Otherwise, I hope this helps someone.
