Pre-patch I was always top damage dealer in BGs.
Now.. look at some numbers in an EOTS where I totally dominated (remember I'm almost full S4 and enchants, epic gems):
My shaman: 140k dmg done, 14-15 KBs
Warlock mate in S1+S2: 210k dmg done
Retri pala: 351k damage done, 33 KBs
Say what? WHAT?
It's a gibfest. Everyone can get 2 shotted. Yes pld are strong but it's not their insane dps that making the win. I find its the 7 second stun on a 20 second cooldown with a bubble makes them more immune to the gibing.
before the patch I could compete, but now I feel like a non-twink in a twink premade. The dps is just insane. PLds haven't been a problem for me its the warriors with the 100yrd intercept and the whirlwind that makes them immune to CC.
Also before the patch my comp ran 5 accounts of WoW fine 40fps main 15fps background, now its crap with just 4 accounts at 30 fps main 6-8 fps background, I am constantly losing /follow takes me 10 minutes to go anywhere. I have been playing single shaman just to get use to new spells and the fact that I have never play shaman before : )

We're squishy like hell. I liked pvp pre 3.0 A LOT more. Now a ret paladin and a warrior can kill me if they're in melee range before i can start attacking them. The push back on Chain heal is so bad that i pretty much can't heal. And they seem to be immume to thunderstorm's knockback?
Just got ganked time after time after time by a fire mage, arms warr in i think T6 and a ret.
Resilience got 'balanced' to meet lvl 80 i think? Since it's almost as if i hardly have any, but still having 343 doesn't seem to reduce incoming damage.
Anyone else experiencing this? Or am i just whining? :D
What do you mean the pushback is so bad that you can't heal? Pushback was nerfed severely, you can only get pushed back twice and then further hits do nothing.
doh, didn't knew that. Wierd, never noticed it. A mage spamming AE made it pretty much impossible to finish a spell.Quote:

I think it was just that everyone was specced nature's swiftness reducing the pushback on heals.. Now that most people are a variation of 51/10 or something long those lines, we do get some pushback on chain heal, but it is stil alot less than if the changes to pushback have not taken place..
I think he's alluding more to the fact, that if like me.. It's sketch to see if your undergeared shaman team isn't going to whipe before the warrior who is LOLing with his soulcleaver with bladestorm is in your face before the chain heal (that you may have been casting right before bladestorm started) goes off.. Usually this happens when TS is off cooldown so my fire nova earth shock combo isn't enough to kill him.. So I either risk losing 1-2 shamans by casting a LB, or trying to keep them up for another earthshock spam with chain heal... If TS is up, just nuke it. They'll die fast.
The thing is, i'm not really undergeared. 2 parts S2, 1 S3, 1 S4. Belt,neck,bracers are S4. Sitting a bit above 300 resi with 9,6k HP and 989 spelldamage And i still feel like i´m lvl 60 and getting owned by a 70 warr/ret.Quote:

Haven't pvp'd to try things with the nerfed pushback though. Only some pvp on QD and kara..
I've been testing a bit more... LB feels slightly less, CL feels like its doing more damage. Thunderstorm x5 didn't seem that good until I modified my macro to use elemental mastery x5 then thunderstorm x5 :D much better now. For the rotating TSes I don't use ele mastery though.
Anyway I think we'll get better but the damage definitely feels nerfed a bit right now.
Hm.. so you use TS on all shamans in one click? Does all of the shamans give damage? or does the main shaman "toss" the enemy before the last 4 thunderstorm goes off? If all TS goes of at same time and all of them is doing damage, im definiyly gonna make macro for all of them with that 100% critt spell and blast everything to pieces:pQuote:

right now i have one key for each of my shamans, so i can throw meleers away from me more often, but warriors with that whirlwind thing is really a meat grinder when they are getting right into my 5 man team :-\ so again i guess i need a macro to nuke all to hell:)

Granted HP is going up, Lava Burst crits for 7k~ ish and with flameshock it's guarenteed so there is no variables.
My damage is always low compared to others in BG's because any target I kill is split between 4 characters and they never get healed. We are all about burst, less about DPS.
so pretty much Flame Shock - > Lava Burst -> CL -> Earth Shock (if it's up) is going to net you an insane amount of burst damage that is definitely not healable as long as it all goes through. As for PvE our scaling needs some work.
You forget thunderstorm or are you planning to skip it at 80?Quote:

Yeah I'm not really complaining to be honest, I toss people about a lot in BGs.
Played AV yesterday I think.. and we were losing for some reason, I wasn't paying attention. Then I decide to mess with the horde. I ride back to DB and enter the keep. The hordies are doing some sweet PvE action, even off-tanking a warmaster on a druid away from the main pack, which is like 15 people huddled around Vanndar.
JUICY TARGET, I run in, drop groundings and tremors.. then Fire Nova. Wait.. Wait.. Waait... THUNDERSTORM BOOOOOM!!! DEATH!!!! I killed like 10 of them instantly, and the rest wiped on Vanndar.. xD
AWESOME.
Ya Thunderstorm is a whole other beast, for repeatable blowing up of targets that are ranged, Flame Shock -> Lava Burst - Chain Lightning will be an insta gib.
every 45 seconds you get a melee insta gib which is Fire Nova - > Chain Lighting ( can skip this ) - > Thunderstorm w/ trinkets.

so much panic, when in my honest opinion, shamans will melt instance mobs and at the same time, CC them.
in PvP, change mobs for players.
like Ellay said, we're all about burst. we'll still have it, along with frogs :D
