Key clone caused system to go lolwtf

Hey guys.

I've recent had problems with system crashing while keyclone open. It must be deep into the windows files or wotever.
The other times i solved it after some time, problematic.

BUT THIS TIME! On my poor imba laptop Dell XPS for all the money i had left, i can no longer boot :(

First boot after crash i had BSOD error, i forgot to write the stop error down.
And all times now i get to choice to start windows normally or start reparation under boot, but both of them only causes a black screen.

The closest i've been to sucess was putting in Windows Vista installation disc to the CD-drive and chosing BOOT from CD - the Windows Vista loading bar came. I stayed like that for 30 mins then black screen ._.


I got work with a deadline in a few days parked on that computer and much more! This is catastrophic!

If anyone can help or redirect me to someone i would be grateful (:

Dosen't seem like a keyclone issue.. Sounds more like a pc manufacture issue.. Contact dell..

still happended cause of keyclone tbh

I'm going to second the PC Manufacturer problem, or possibly OS related.

Was there a specific reason why you think it's keyclone? Besides having keyclone running at the time of the crash? What else was running?

Which isn't to say that it couldn't be a keyclone related problem, just that with the number of users here who have used keyclone with no problems, and the way keyclone interacts with your system (to my understanding) the chanes of it causing your OS / hardware to become inoperable seems unlikely.

Unless you have an illegal copy of Keyclone this issue is 99% unrelated to it, prob something else. Keyclone doesn't change anything in the OS to cause these issues.

OP sounds like some of the people I talk to in helpdesk support for Comcast.


"My computer wont boot up..."

"Sir...I provide technical support for internet and phone, don't think I can really help ya out..."

Or:

"My internet is loading webpages really slow..."

"Ok sir, what kind of computer do you have?"

"Its a Pentium II with Windows 98 and 128mb of ram"

Well okay then,
keyclone & 3x wow was only running.

And the other time on my stationary computer keyclone and 1x wow was running, lightning caused computer to shut off, and then it just rebooted all the time.



Guess its just random then.

if lightning 'caused your computer to shut off'.. spike damage? happens
after that, memory problems can easily cause random behavior.

If Keyclone was at fault and did hose your OS, it wouldn't cause a failure in booting to the OS CD. You most likely have a hardware failure that happened when you were playing, contact Dell for troubleshooting/part replacement if it's under warranty.
