There is no appropriate place for it. That's illegal and not allowed in the forums, as is botting/gold selling/etc.

Agreed. In the US, it bugs me when people confuse civil law (torts) with criminal law. Bugs me more when people say something is illegal when in fact it is against Blizzards TOS. Not the same thing at all.

There is the anything against the "spirit of the game" blurb banstick rule in there.

It's one of those clauses most company's throw out there which entitles them a vague outline to that whatever they say goes.

Beyond that, don't try to sell accounts on these forums :) thanks for editing it in the beginning.

Wouldn't it fall under #2? the "official rules, regulations" of Blizzard about it's game are the EULA/TOS.

Most people use "illegal" in the place of something like "violation of TOS/EULA". While I tend to consider it inaccurate, I also understand that they don't mean that you're subject to arrest or prosecution, but that you're breaking the contract that you agreed to abide by.
