When you are feared in 3.0 / Expansion you no longer run around, instead you stand still and cover your eyes :)
A lot more classes become viable with this since it turns into just a cc and not having to gather your characters back up! :)

I don't know about players, but I just feared a mob on my priest in beta and he ran around like normal.
