what is more important to you Time or Money? I linked up 5 accounts and got them to level 60 with 1day 7hours played. If cost isn't a problem I would say go for it.
Well I got 3 months recurring on my 5 now, they would run out in November. Can I RAF with all 5 and make trails and level with 300%? Or Recruit all 5 from acc one? What would make me be able to make an instant 60?Quote:

Which way did you level/RAF?Quote:

Hmm... Well, let's think it through... Let's name the 5 accounts you have now A, B, C, D and E. You could do this:
A RaF's a new account F. F spends $20 for normal WoW through website or $25 battlechest and you Ebay the TBC key.
B RaF's a new account G.
C transfers to A. $25.
A and F pair up with B and G to level to 60, gift levels to C's toon (which is on A account) to 60.
C transfers back to C. $25.
F transfers to D. $25 (since $25 transfer is less money than the time you've bought on your existing accounts).
G transfers to E. $25.
So depending on the breaks you spend $140-$150 for the RaF leveling speed and to save your existing account time. Personally I would spend $150 to save 40-odd hours of leveling, but that's just me.
I think that works.
:S ?( :SQuote:

Can I do this
A recruits F
B recruits G
c Recruits H
D recruits I
Would that be 5 accs with RAF and mounts?
And just play with AFGHI and cancel BCDE
I'd stick with it at this point. The reason why is your now entering the stage where it starts to get fun. I think it took me 6-7 days to reach 60 with my shams you can use that as a guide. I think once you hit hinterlands it takes off like a bat out of hell with all the zones to quest in, and all the old instances. I really enjoy the old 60 content, thats where it really sinks in that you can accomplish some stuff!
If your on a PVE server I'd start over. But on PVP i'd keep going and enjoy mowing down groups and finishing quests on their corpses.
Thing is for RaF bonus to work you need to have both RaF friends (the vet and the friend) in a party together. So in your example A and F would get the 3x XP bonus but G, H and I would not.Quote:

If you are fine with cancelling your BCDE accounts you have a lot more flexibility. You could do:
A recruits F who recruits G who recruits H. A, F, G and H level new toons to 60. F gifts 30 levels to A's original shammie to ding them to 60. A's original shammie transfers to B accounts. C, D, E are canceled. A, F, G get the bonus mounts. You spend $25 x 3 for F, G, H accounts, $25 for transfer. $100 but you lose the time you've paid on C, D, E.

Hmmm.
But If he can get to level 60 in less than 2 days played , which is where I am at, then it would'nt take long for me to get back to 32...
I would start again with RAF only if you plan on starting another team after this one. If not, you have most of the worst grinding before Outlands already behind you. Also at a certain point how many random 60's with no gear or skills can you use? I like the idea of them, but i can't use another lvl 60 hunter much less equip him. RAF is great, but if you are just building 1 team at this point it really isn't worth it. I you ARE building an army though, have at it, start new accounts, and start cranking out teams.
Well I have always wanted 4 locks 1 priest teams, 5 mage teams, all the other stuff too, but it would take too long to level on these non-RAF's.Quote:

And how do you RAFers level your proffesions?
You don't. No time, and mostly no gold to do it. Most have no gear and few have mounts, much less professions, besides possibly a collection one. 90 days will go by quickly and if you are doing more than 1 team I would lvl first and then worry about professions after that. Even with my meager stash of gold (between 4 and 5k) I will be hard pressed for gold by the time this 90 days is up. After training on 5-10 toons, mounts and gear there is nothing left for professions. After the leveling is over and the time limit isn't pressing up against me, I will take a breather and figure out which toons and what professions will work for me.
Alright, lets say I just level all the teams I always wanted to 70, then level proffesions after doing dailys x 5? Would that work well?Quote:

I say, get 3 RAF accts, keep acct A and B, cancel C D and E, and xfer C D E to F G H. $150 one time, and you get 90 days of 1-60 leveling bliss, 3 zhevra mounts, and some free gift levels. If you want more "free" toons on your A account, you can get one more RAF, and one more xfer for a total of $200.
That way you keep your team right where they're at, and get the last 28 levels on super-speed, and can then start on those "dream teams."
An other option, if you would rather spend less money is to just get 3 new accounts and no transfers, and start from scratch. You can get to lvl 32 really fast, and be back up to speed in no time. Actually, since you are already at 32, you could level up some extra "placeholder" toons on the veteran accounts, and switch to the existing 32s once you get up that high. Once you hit 60, you can instantly level up the placeholder toons :)
I just started over, and am undecided as to whether or not im going to transfer my old toons (4 61s and 4 52s) or just let em sit. Their play time just ran up, so im just gonna leave em be until RAF wears off, and make my decision then. Ill probably end up transferring over as many as i can afford, and at the same time, put em all on the same server.
Seconded. No professions until you get to 60 and are done levelling teams (or unless you have a load of gold from your main(s) with which to buy mats). But if you're going to do Herbalism/Mining for money, do what I did and put it on the primary so you can use a macro (/castsequence Find Herbs, Find Minerals) to switch between views and don't have to look at one of your smaller displays for the minimap's node spot. Similar with Skinning; I added that to one of my subtoons since I already knew which mobs were goign to be skinnable and just a quick double-click (I don't use 'Focus Follows Mouse' in Keyclone) gets it going.Quote:

To answer the OP's question (Is it worth it): Yes. The speed at which you level means that the original early-30s team is going to be quickly passed.
I leveled my original tribox team to 60 in around two weeks (about a day and a half, /played time), and now have another 2.5 months with which to (very very rapidly) create new teams (and thus, a presence) on other servers so I can play/socialize with friends on those server/factions.
The BEST way to do this, so you spend a minimum of money, is:
A recruits F and G
B recruits H
Let C, D and E expire. Playing with this team in one group means you only have to buy three more copies/keys, and can use two of your original accounts (which should have your main(s), if any). You'll get two Zhevras for A, and one for B.
As for purchasing software/keys, what I did was look on google for sites/companies that had the Battlechest on sale for $30, which I had no problem finding. I purchased my four copies from Circuit City, Best Buy, and GameStop/EBGames, and ended up not having to pay shipping for three of them (local San Francisco pickup from Best Buy and GameStop).
Sounds like I might do that, but who/how would I RAF that way?Quote:

Only if you feel like you NEED to keep those three early-30s-level toons and don't mind spending the $75 it'll cost.Quote:

Since you're putting so much money up front anyway ($90 for the software/keys, if you get them at $30 each), I would just abandon them, and start an entirely new team. But that's me-- I try not to spend too much money on WoW in any given month.
You could also just put off on doing the transfer until just before the three-month on the C/D/E accounts expire, so you're not dropping $165 in one fell swoop.
It just depends on what your financial situation is.
imo, yes. I was almost 50 and did it. :)
Yeah I might wait til the time runs out, but I'll probably be 70 near then, and the new RAF may be over by then. So I am unsure.Quote:

bump-o.
I did it at lvl 40 and i wont regret that a singel day of my life.. Mostly because i went male orc shamans first, but im back to females now and i enjoy every second! :)
Also i wanted a second boxing team wich most likley will be 1 priest and 4 warlocks! If i cba to level them past 60 i cant say for sure but to have the option to do so later is great! (and with RAF it costs me nothing realy!)
See my first comment in regard to how long it took:Quote:

As for how, just normal questing. I skipped all the collection quests with medium to low drop rates (pretty much everything that wasn't a single drop or pet/totem quest after level 10)Quote:

Allright, thank you.
I think I will have A RAF F&G then have B Recruit H.
That would mean 2 mounts for A, one for B, and 300%xp all around, right?
Then I could instant level my 35 pally to 60, then the two placehodlers that I would level to 32.
Also, what two classes would do well with 3 shamans? Druid? Mage? Lock?
Exactly: 2 mounts for A, one for B, and 300% xp for all five accountsQuote:

Your level granting estimation also seems pretty accurate.
I have no experience multiboxing with melee classes, but pretty much any caster seems to work pretty well. My priest+mage+warlock teams seem to have no trouble one-shotting at-level mobs. I like to make sure I have a mage in each team, though, for movement reasons. Also: Free water.
Well my 5 shamans ATM are orc, so maybe roll a troll mage/priest to go with em to level?Quote:

And I can't decide what to make account B.
Acc 1 - Main Account - has pally tank, shaman has mining and enchanting leveled - will make account A
Acc 2 - Has a 35 boomkin, and shammy has 225 skinning
Acc 3 - has 35 holy priest, shammy is a lw/eng
Acc 4 - has a 30 shaman along with the other one, so won't use this one.
Acc 5 - 33 troll mage, has shaman with herbalism leveled.
I heard herb was the hardest to level? Is that right?
Can't decide which one to pick :pinch:Quote:

I found herbalism to be very easy to level, with a fast ground mount.Quote:

bump for the night.
There is no unarguably best team. There is no unarguably fastest way to level. Play the game.
Explore it.
Have fun.
That's the point.
I was level 36 i think with my old team with about 1day played, then when RAF came i bought new accounts, and i was lvl 35 again in about 5h so i would say go for it :P
All right. I'ma start today, just need pick my account b.
