What to do in order to make questing less tedious?

I'm playing a 4 orc shaman team and my friend is playing a BE pally... we started at the same time using joanas guide and he is level 15 and i'm level 8... lol (both played around 3 hours)

Wondering if you have any tips on making questing (collection quests especially) less boring and tedious.

Also... Having your names be teenage mutant ninja turtles gets lots of posative feedback!

No, there's no way to make quests less tedious. The mechanics of having to pick up drops with 4-5 people just sucks. This is why most of us have begun skipping almost all collection quests. With the new xp rates since 2.3, you don't really need to bother with the collection stuff anyway.

i wish someone would make a damn guide then... cause i know alot of the "pickup stix" quests get loads of exp for full chains.

I swear by Jame's guides. Just use his, and skip collection quests. Though, I still do the collection quests with decent drop rates.

This is pretty much verbatim what I do, though my /played is about double that for the full 5-man team.

You guys suck at alttabbing or something then...I have less time on my almost-all-collection-quests-done boomkins at 65 than I did on any of my others at 60 :p Even the hell-droprate diaphonous wings/fertile spores quests in Zangar + eel fillets etc, and a fair amount of those hours were wasted /dancing in town :P

Well, my elemental shamans are level 50 now.

I leveled from 48-49 through questing. It took me a good 3 hours in hinterlands. Which is a pretty quest friendly zone for horde multiboxers. (and another hour worth of traveling/slacking which I wont count).

Then I powerleveled my four alts in lbrs with my main (Enhancement shaman, so no AoE, epic gear and 1200 dps tho.) and it took me 90 minutes to get to 50, without the traveling/slacking time.

So, even without AoE, it seems instance grinding is about twice as fast then questing. Oo

The problem is, I can never keep grinding for more then like 2 hours myself before getting totally demoralized and just slack/do other stuff instead. :p But if you can bring it up to do some massive grinding, instances is probably the way to go. Boost them or have them get boosted. (I sometimes get a friend to boost my chars for me a run or two, it's quite laid back and since you're not alone also more fun!)

The TMNT names were originally mine. I had 4 orc shamans level 40ish and a tank named Splinter. Anyways i re rolled so you can take them :P lol

I just watch every epp of Scrubs lol.
