Note: Haven t played much in the past few weeks, looking to push 2200 this week.
Having a ton of problems against cleave teams and good warlock teams. Gear is ok, hateful-deadly ish.

Anyway 1850 and i just bought the wepons..
Had tons of losses due to some bugs in my keyclone wich made one of my shamans fail on pretty much all he casted.. After i fixed it we went up 150 rating without losses so def possible to get higher but its a hard BG. Should get even higher now that both me and my healer went from the titansteel guardian to furiouse wepons.

Comp: 4x ele / Disc Healer (pally disappeared 3 weeks ago and I have learned to love the priest comp. Pallies for this comp are overrated imo)
Been working on the team for about 3 weeks now after individually gearing up as resto with 4x 2v2 teams at the beginning of the season. I feel this has given me a substantial gear advantage over where I ended last season. Havent played as many games as desired due to sparse priest attendance. Gear is Full Deadly/Furious + Furious accessories(minus cape). I have blown through everyone we have faced the last 2 weeks with the exception of 2-3 very talented "cleave+destro lock" teams. We ground our teeth last night for 2 hours against this comp rated 2200+ and worked out a few strategies and tips... but its just brutal to be honest. F destro locks in the butt. Also we have a pretty difficult BG in 5s, not just skill but lack of selection wise. Ive got the same ranking as Sinaa with 200 less team rating.
Blizzard needs to take a long hard look at shadowfury and seduction, no other class (dps spec) has spammable AOE stun + autopilot spam charm. Other than that I have very high hopes for this season and we should be 1900 by the end of the week at the rate we are going.

Comp: 4x Elemental and 1x Holy Paladin. I might be swapping the paladin with the priest since his gear is kinda mweh. He has some win skills though :)
They all have the totem of wrath glyph, on my main i have the stoneclaw totem glyph.
I want a priest for Power Word: Fortitude and Power Word: Shield.
I am stacking on Stamina as much as i can, i have also trained mining to 450 for 50 stamina buff of the profession.
When im gemmed + full hateful + rings, necklaces, capes everything i should have around 23.5k hp with my shamans, and 24k hp with my main because of mining buff. I then have around 27k with PW: Fortitude, Stone Claw Totem absorb 4,2k damage, power word shield absorbs 5k shield. So i am pretty much undieable. I also have my pvp trinket that adds another 3.3k hp :)
Looking forward to the future, better gear, more skills, more teams, more setups and more fun :)

Lol, you do know that most cleave teams will do over 40k dmg in 3 globals. Its absolutely retarded. You may be somewhat of a tank but, UN-killable is not even close.
dk/rogue/pally cleave teams with 2 healers ( druid/priest) can be a true pain in the ass. Not to mention some bad dk's like picking up the spell absobtion bubble thingymajigger. Its terrible for every other team but almost a direct counter to multiboxing shamans.
the other issue i run into with rogue teams is the fan of knives resetting/cancelling casts... is that a bug? Since when do classes get infinate amount of spell control....
The fan of knives talent that gets you interrupted is a deep combat talent and if the rogue is combat i doubt theyr high on rating, not to mention that this talent is uber useless in raids. Aka theese rogues are super rare in my bg, i havent faced a singel one in either bgs or arena.Quote:

Buffs all sound awsome untill you face pillar humpers who mass dispell them all before going in, it forces us to play alot more agressive then before. But compared to a paladin its awsome since all your buffs is gone in 3 mass dispells. Are you stacking shit loads of stamina im at 22k with a mix of hateful/deadly/furiouse.
And like Sina said 27k hp wont save you from that burst, however a well timed TS or HoP/pain supression can.
Rogue's have a "FoK spec" now, its mainly used for 5's and most of the top teams on my Bg at least have a rogue using it. Its broke in so many ways, blizzard doesn't care and its the perfect counter to a multiboxer. Only hope is that you can insta gib the rogue when he first comes out. Most cleave teams can kill me before his CloS wears off, the dmg is just rediculous. My BG seems like an extremely difficult one to box on, everyteam I fight does something that impresses me to win. I did much better in season 5 actually staying in the 1900's most of the season, this season I'm having a little trouble finding a healer who will stick it out with me. My first one was a druid and he seems to have quit wow ( like my paladin from s5 ), and my 2nd healer was another paladin and he seems to have moved on to anotehr 5s team in hopes of getting the 2200 5s achievement for his arena master so once again, no healer atm but I'm going to do games with a friend's resto drudi this week .. he has bad gear but very good player.

I really feel that the nearly 500 games I played in s5 has made this season much more difficult because so many people have a lot of experience fighting me, already have nearly 300 this season.
A few words of advice. I really want to set some rumors straight about stacking certain stats to help you guys save time.
@Negative: This is not a slam against you, I agree Stamina sounds great, I did the same thing at the end of S5, i had 27k on my lead sham, and 1230 resilience... I stacked the crap out of them. Its very impressive, the problem is... its useless. It just makes you a bigger, more impotent dmg sponge. Grinding from 0-1400 rating will seem EZ-mode because it is. Once you start facing higher rated, more talented teams.... I guarantee, with those stat choices, you will never kill a single (skilled) player on the enemy team again, and yes - I mean even with our "I-win" button.
Here is the reality of our comps core stats: Spellpower, Hit, and Spellpen.
Hit: You need 4% hit softcap... 6% to counter racials. Best way to get the required +Hit is from passive gear bonuses. The ** Cloak of Ascendancy + Deadly spell ring will give you exactly 3% alone(4% softcap if you're draenei like me), if you need more hit get it from gear(ascendancy neck etc), NOT enchants/gems which have lower iLvls.
Spellpen: Its arguable, but a conservative number is 80 spellpen minimum to level out your LvB dmg, seeing as EVERYONE in 5v5 will usually have 75resist. With the upcoming Dragon's Eye changes(no longer prismatic), you will actually need to use blue gems, so these babies become even more essential, and you can feel less guilty about stacking the 4 stormy sky sapphires :P
Spellpower: Once you have the required stats above, stack the CRAP out of spellpower every chance you get. Like I said, my lead sham (best geared) is sitting at 2367 unbuffed. SP is your friend!!
Stam&Resil: Let your gear take care of these stats, you will not be stacking them at high ratings. I am at 955resil currently from gear alone(+the epic 20resil gem of course), which I feel has been fine so far.
In order to compensate for our lack of diversity and micromanagement ability, we need to overcompensate on our ability to do massive amounts of dmg quickly. Defense and survivability do NOT come from stacking Stamina, they come from a good thunderstorm rotation, proper kill targets, and helping your healer out with healing(you will be doing this)!! Although my rating is still climbing (I've only been pushing a couple weeks now), I have had great success lately with my talent, gear, and gem choices, and I have done a lot of thinking and revising my setup accordingly. I urge everyone to please pay attention to these stats, they will MAKE OR BREAK you past 1500 rating. In arena, ALL of my shamans are sitting on 2500-2650 spellpower (with totems down), full deadly/furious gear, and I STILL cannot just march into a match and blow my cooldowns for a guaranteed kill. When stacking stam, I found it impossible, even with a clear firing lane and perfect cast times, to kill high rated warriors / DKs PERIOD.... 2k+ healers WILL beat you to the punch, its just reality. However, when played correctly, with my current stats, and when the time is right, I can now take down gladiator warriors, 33k hp, 750+ resilience, in DEFENSIVE stance, in 1 spell combo.
I can tell anyone who is starting out, or possibly undergeared still, that practice is huge. Cleave comps are tough as hell. Use ANY chance you get to fight high rated teams.. dont just dodge them (even when it means beating your desk and shouting at the wall for 2 hours). When the time is right, your rating is high, and your gear is up to date - you'll be happy you worked on it... and proper enchants, gems, gear will get you there!

I was checking multiple armory's before i started stacking on Stamina and i thought that it would be better to have 25k hp on Stamina gems, instead of +300 spellpower. I have around 2.1k spellpower selfbuffed with full hateful, so i might lose 200 spellpower but i gain a lot of extra HP.
And if this is a failure i have the money to regem/enchant, but don't you guys get facerolled with 20k-22k hp?
