So a couple years ago I discovered In Flames. Thought I had found one of the best metal bands ever. But recently I found another one that pretty much matches the excellence of In Flames: Heaven Shall Burn. They are pretty awesome and the guitars are spectacular. The vocals are very unique too.
On the flipside I was reading some of the troll comments in youtube and someone said this band is better: Dying Fetus. I looked them up and saw this video:
I tend to like bands that I can understand their vocals. However I do really like Slipknot's stuff. Funny, but I have never watched these videos before and now I wish I had not. The band members all look like douches. Oh well at least I like th music.

Chimaira is awesome, just found them recently too.
I've started to dislike Slipknot quite a bit. The only two songs I like are Vermillion and Liberate. I have 3 of their albums but just cannot listen to them anymore.

I just recently got into In Flames as well. Not a lot of good venues for keeping up with the greatest in rock/metal out here in the country. Thanks for all the video postings, I'll have to check them out later (i.e. not at work) to see if I need to spend some time downloading from iTunes. Wish I had something to contribute here as well, but I'm playing catch-up.

@ Eatcarbs...Nice one on the Dimmu Borgir, buddy of mine turned me on to them a few months ago, and they kick a pretty good amount of ass...here's a couple of my favorites:
