Nice new artwork in EQ

For all the talk of EQ "not counting" anymore seems that SoD gonna bring in some nice artwork:

I never remembered EQ to look like that... The models were always pretty decent, but nothing ever like that... That's wicked

a static pic is one thing, how they move is another.

Low poly count wings, very disappointing. Great textures and bumpmaps but you can see the wireframe design they used...

Oh wait, thats what people say about WOW yet I can see the same thing in these... look how all the wings cut \_/ instead of smooth curves like a natural wing would be (skin pulled taught between bone).

HAY GUYS LOOK AT ME IM NOT AS RELEVANT NOW THAT PREPARED IS 44 BOXING BUT I CAN DRAW FROM MY EQ EXPERIENCE TO TRY TO DRAW ATTENTION TO MYSELF!!!!

Seriously Sam - that is kind of cool but Prepared is 44x level 61+ - you only have 90 days of RAF.... I want to see some epic 20+ boxing!

On the other hand in about a week all my new computers should be online and then no more lag ....

There are two ways to do things. Lets say build a car.

One guy jumps in and builds a car in one month.

The other guy takes 3 months to build a machine that builds cars.

Hmm, I was going to reply with "EQ is still shit," but those dragons actually look pretty sweet :)

PS: imo, this was hardly an e-peen waving thread, you don't have to bring the hate in here.

I read the comments in the thread and the people there were like "meh reused over sized models, nothing new." I go with what they say.
