3.0 Overnight impressions!
In two words... Love it!
This is my first big update since I started multiboxing and so far me likey.
Had a blast last night, literally. My shaman are pretty much the least geared shaman on these forums, I don't have much time before exp, so gearing them up isn't really an option for me atm. That being said...
3k Thunderstorm critz? lol
Improved Fire Novas
Long range flame shocks... (long range instant)
Instant GW form
reduced CD on groundings
etc...
I think every buff or new spell we got only improved multiboxing as far as shaman are concerned.
I'm trying to figure out a good TS rotation.
I use Shift+ Arrow keys for my warstomp so I might grp TS with that,
I can use them all at once or just seperately.
Warstomp>Fire Nova>Thunderstorm
or
Fire Nova>Warstomp>Thunderstorm
Minimum damage is 2908 (noncrit) from nova's and 1127 (noncrit) from single TS. As utillity.
Means I can follow up with 3 more War stomps and TS's great for waves of intercepts lol.
Last night I tried this with a trinket(waste)+EM+TS x4... I didn't get a SS but I will ;)
just macro'd
/cast Elemental Mastery
/cast Thunderstorm
and
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=3 Fire Nova Totem, War Stomp
with gcd takes about 1-1.25 sec to cast.
Log read:
Fire Nova 1894
Fire Nova 937
Fire Nova 974
Fire Nova 943
Thunderstorm 2793
Thunderstorm 2547
Thunderstorm 2841
Thunderstorm 2616
Total=15445
Lets just say its enough to kill anything within 10 yrds
I noticed that TS and Fire nova doesn't scale with spell damage? So trinket is a waste. Does anyone know if it is just a flat damage?
Adding war stomp in there because I have noticed that TS knockback is sometimes resisted... or there are more than 5 (thanks to pets and etc) or maybe they just died or there was lag. dunno.
Anyone else find some fun things out?

I'm trying to figure out a good TS rotation.
I'm currently using this:
Shift + 1: Thunderstorm + CL + CL + Frost Shock
Shift + 2: Frost Shock + Thunderstorm + CL + CL
Shift + 3: CL + Frost Shock + Thunderstorm + CL
Shift + 4: CL + CL + Frost Shock + Thunderstorm
Shift + 5: 4 * (EM + Thunderstorm)
Works like a charm. Massive control with the TS+Frost + CL+CL in one button, over and over and OVER AND OVER. :D
Edit: The reason I use so many buttons to round robin this is because I want to be able to spam the respective button. Consider a situation where 1 of your shammies is feared and one is stunned, and I want to perform this move. I will spam one or two of these buttons to make sure I get at least one TS off. If I did this with round-robin, I would spam the crap out of my TS:es and waste them in many cases due to latency on the main before I see it go off on a slave. In pvp I find that cast sequences aren't very reliable due to CC and latency.
