I've been very frustrated by my first heroic runs. I spent the last week grabbing AH and crafted gear and tried Direbew last night.
After one wipe, where I found I could ignore Usrula the barreling add and just burn the boss, I was downing him piece of cake. It as a real shot in the arm. Thank you Brewfest for getting me pumped up again!
FYI: 1 +170 stam trinket, 1 mithril pocket-watch, 2 speckled eggs.
It's funny, I'm sorta in the same boat. My teams were just barely getting by on Coren, and then the shammies went from 75 to 76, and now I was able to get 6 clean kills on him. Tomorrow I'll be doing both the shammy group and the DK group, so I should get 11 attempts. This is assuming I'm not playing Aion. Wow has sort pissed me off with the whole AV thing and I'm not sure I want to spend time leveling those 3 shammies the old way if they can kill Coren at 76.Quote:

I gave up trying on him and now I just pug him with my DK and then tell the group I have 4 other accounts and they all seem to be super happy that we get 4 more tries at him. I just dont have the gear. And thats fine. Next year I am going to smoke him.Quote:

I finally got a Kodo after 4 days of 10+ summons a day. After my first night of a rather ugly win with my five shaman teams, I knew there was no way I'd be able to do it alone on my warlock team, so I brought in a guildy tank and healer, and we've burned through 10+ summons a day.
Most of my shamans have all of the trinkets, I've received the tankard club and even the broken bottle, which is a hilarious RP item, if you're into that sort of thing.
The tank I brought along has received both mounts, and the healer I've brought along has received the Ram. So next Ram drop, and I'm all set. We'll continue to run it 10+ times a night to get both mounts on all three of us, as well as let other guildies join in to hopefully get some mount drops from my summons, since we're a carebear guild that's into sharing and all that lovey-dovey stuff. haha :D

Got my teleport device now. At least I can get their in a few seconds now! I got a dodge trinket for my main pally and 2 1000 attack power trinkets for rets so far.
3 consistent days of farming with 30 tries per day, I've only managed to get 1 kodo, and 4 rams. The drop rate for mount is kind of low to me. However, I've got like 6 of those BOE mugs, at least, I am looking at 10k gold after a few months.
