Hey Xhor, I have a nice Intel Core 2 Quadcore with a Nvidia 8800, I was wondering if I would have any problems running 5? Right now I have 3 going on the one box with two monitors.
If I can just get myself to pull from the Alliance side and move over to the dark side, I would hop over to Mag with ya. Right now I am boxing over on Thrall - Alliance
There's always room in the zerg, though you may not show up in the guild list due to a bug where more than 500 characters causes the list to not display 501 or higher. :PQuote:

You should be able to 5 box very smoothly with your setup. Your Vid card, Nvidia 8800 is very simular to the 9800, in fact i think they are basically the 'same' card with a few tweaks in the 9800... according to Tom's Hardware. I however run all 5 of my toons using 1 monitor (4 toons on the left 1/4 of the screen and my main toon taking up the other 3/4 of the screen, that way, I can monitor ALL of my guys. I believe making your vid card use 2 different monitors is taxing on your card. I also am running the 5 toons from their own WoW directory all in the same HD. WoW1, WoW2, WoW3, WoW4 and WoW5. The software that I use is KEYCLONE and its a GODSEND. The money for it is well worth it.

This guild still around? I may roll my 5 to this server in the future.
What is the population on Mag? I did a search on http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php and it shows a low population. The server list pop at just under 8,000, LOL in fact is shows the Horde at 640 or something... that has to be all "Zerg"! with the other 7,000 or so Alliance.
If those numbers are true, it must be fun Pvp with all the Alliance everywhere. :thumbup:
That data is wrong. Horde generally outnumber alliance on Mag and the population usually sits in the top of the "High" range (we had queues here up until a couple months ago). It's an active and lively server, though.Quote:

If your looking for ezmode honor farming then Ruin might not be for you. It's one of the more competitive Battglegroups in the US, so Allies are not too bad in the ruin Bgroup... but hey... pugs are pugs. Horde usually win 80%-90% of the matches I am in. Queues are instant 24/7. I only 2 box, so I may have better odds in the smaller bg's, i dunno. It's worth a shot.Quote:

We have another member that dual boxes and a couple that triple-box. Of course, most of us are 5-boxers but we don't discrimininiminate against anyone but soloers (SO's exempted, of course). :D

I rolled 5 Shamans on Mag yesterday. I probably should have done this earlier but am happy to be there now. Took the big plunge and stepped up to 5 boxing. I was in the zerg with my 3 box setup, but was inactive for a bit. I'm back now bigger than before :P

Going to try 5 boxing... last time I attempted this I did a 3 box shammy rig. This time I have all 5 accounts signed up and ready to go. I'm in the process of setting things up now and hopefully my laptop will handle 5 instances of WOW.
VERY bored with vanilla, single box WOW at the moment and looking for something new. Once I get things lined out, I'll be looking for some fellow zerglings on Mag.
The more the merrier. Had several more new boxers join up in the last few days 2s, 3s and 5s. Should get interesting when we can field enough 70s for some 40man fun stuff.

That's 9pm-1am my time. Usually there have been 7-12 people on until around 10-11ish, then it drops down to 5-8 of us or thereabouts. Lots more on weekends. My minifriends UI actually developed a scrollbar I didn't know it had last Sunday. :P

I 'd think it would be perfectly doable.
You take the two healers and bind your keys so that those two chars cast heals / dot or damage at the same time (choose spells wisely)
You do the same for the dps classes and you play the tank as your main.
That way you'll be able to spread the healers, dpsers and run around with the tank as much as you like.
for my setup I 'd put the G keys for the healers, the numpad keys for the dpsers

It is really cool being on a server that has so many boxers. I run into boxers from the zerg all the time. Now if I can just find one class to focus leveling on maybe I can go have some real fun with the rest of the zerg members.Quote:

Too funy, I actually logged on last night with a new orc just to do a /who the zerg. And sure enough, 9pm PST there were 40 logged, probably about 7 real people, and, 2 new 5 man hunter groups both in the Zerg right in front of me. :) I will be joining this realm for sure, transfer my 70 over with his 1500g :)
I also just rolled on Magtheridon (Alliance), as I've played horde for all of my WoW career since launch, I'd thought I give the Draenei a go..
Naturally I rolled three shamans (Oneshe, Twoshe, Threeshe) and would LOVE to join a guild that has other multi-boxers in it. Someone mentioned <Owned by the Zerg>? If its a real guild hit me up in game with an invite(s)!

I wanted to ask if it is out of the question for you all to extend an invitation to a solo player that is part of my family as well? they wouldn't likely ever be on more than 1 acct as 6 accounts for the family is going to cause enough wife aggro as it is.
Well, the RAF thing made going horde too tempting, so I created a few toons today and made over 150 levels (5x, two teams).
The RAF thing really helps a ton, but starting over on a new server is rough. Over 6K gold sitting in the bank on my alliance server, but here - no bags, not enough money to train - ugh.
My mains are Kobalt and Himlock, give me a shout if you'd like :)
Welcome to Mag! Rolling new on Mag may get you some help with bags and gold. I had a nice welcome package when I rolled here. My new main main is Zëk and I have 5 druids.Quote:
