I know the D3 speculation is huge, and the insiders say that's what it's going to be. But when I saw today's image my first thought was Protoss (Zeratul or Tassadar).

That's exactly what i thought of too.

How about a transformers mmorpg. Think about it you already have your 2 sides. Your mount form can be your transforming mode (ground and air mount). Life can be the energy cubes.
I wonder if they ever thought of that.

Of course. I was there for Blackthorne and Lost Vikings (among others). A modernized Blackthorne would rock hard.

Umm.. no. They wouldn't include things from ALL blizzard games if it was just the release of the beta for wow.
Day 5: Lost Viking rune = Frostmourne (WoW), D2, Starcraft, Warcraft3, Lost Vikings Rune = All Blizzard games. New game is being released not just WoW Beta. They did this with S2 (new game) so yeah.. history repeats itself.
