Wow monks eligible for Raf and AV holiday during launch as well. Now I can't decide whether to go for Realm First Monk or work on leveling my teams using AV. Kinda torn...
AV the first weekend on my established team and then do the monks. I don't care about server firsts :)
Nice, Monks on Raf! Im going 4 hunters and a druid normal quest mode on release, hopefully they be level 90 before Weekend so I can then use shammys in AV or start Monks, undecided.
The av "weekend" actually starts on tues.
How much 'phasing' is there in MoP? (sorry have only read from page 15 onwards). Part of me hopes that there is none, part of me likes the way they use it to progress the 'story' behind the zones (also nice tool to avoid gankers when herbing/mining on PvP servers).

I just hit revered with the tillers in MoP last night and was able to plant the seeds that give trade skill mats when you harvest the next day. looks like each plant makes from 2-4 of said trade skill mat each day. at exalted you will have 16 slots to plant stuff in. so not bad to get some free ore or herbs or what ever you want.

I thought you can't get the rep at all in dungeons, especially from old ones? Though many things will change when beta goes live ;)
also in most videos it seems you have to loot a mob pile at least 2 times.. Hell, the aoe loot is awesome, but why not doing it right the first time.. ;)
I ran through there twice and that happened both times. I'm guessing the BoP blue item from the boss caused it. I'll test it out some more later today.
I'd also like to say that SM is... not as exciting as it used to be for boosting. Scarlet Halls is very linear and Cathedral (merged with Graveyard) doesn't have as many mobs nor can you have Morgraine pull the entire instance (he resets at the Cathedral entrance).

At level 42, with rested exp, with 35% heirlooms, fast track 10%:

Quest: 6308 experience without the elixir (+45%), and 19,358 experience with it. (+345%)
From the test you can see that the exp gain from armor, elixir, rested, and guild should all stack.
Note, that I've listed the exp increase as '+790%' as thats how the item tooltip lists the increase.
This is of course the same as 890% total (900% with the pirate ring).In the latest patch this item is now bound to account so sadly there will no longer be a market for it on the AH.
I think it's safe to say it'll still be fairly heavily camped though.

If you are running multiple boxes like me, the directory is TempMig for the 6G download off your World of Warcraft directory. I DL'ed once and copied it to my other machines which satisfied their background downloaders.

No really its "not" as bad as before but there is still a lot in some zones are a nightmare.
Most is npc's that change come and go without changeing the zone as such just make sure all your chars do the quest if not u could be locked out from quests/chains.
phasing happens in org next the bossess room now its a nightmare. the sw keep has the same prob as well but nothing for many to worry about as u nerver go there.
phasing happons each time u enter/leave a cross realm zone. you chars will resync after u leave/enter the zone.
Oh god does that mean lots of follow breaking? I really hate that.

I sit at about 9-40ms pings to Magtheridon and my guys would break follow _every_ time on a phase transition. The only difference I ever noticed was how busy the server was, which would determine how long it took them to "see" the phase change boundary and break follow, which determined how far apart the alts would be if I were turning when moving across the boundary.
I am from Australia and although my alts make it through the phase, they do lose follow. What I do now is around areas where I know there is a phase change, I press 'W' (forward on all slaves) as soon as I see follow break and hold it for a good 5 seconds. By this time they all see each other and I can press my follow key and keep on going. I only lose a bit of time but yea, is still as annoying as hell.
And with us losing HGWT, this is something we will have to live with, maybe I will use flight paths more now, I shall see.
The way phaseing works is it moves you zones/servers even though u do not see it going on your UI it does infact move you to a def part off the game/server even if you was on a 0ms ping your chars would still phase out and rephase in after u rejoin that zone/phase. its really cool tech but as your chars in fact are not next to you for x secs follow is going to go on us :(
The time it takes follow to rejoin back up is going to go on your ping/serverload
In other news: today the 14/Aug should give us a date when 5.0.x will be live on servers my bet is next week 21st Aug 2012.

So I tried to test the bnet wide achievements thing and I don't think that HK totals are Bnet wide. I think they are account only. All tallied up I should have around 70k HKs, but when I logged in a transferred character I only saw 10k :(
edit: Oh and F U Blizzard for launching 5.0.4 on GW2 launch date. I know your reasons but they frustrate the hell out of me. I wish someone could line up their launch towards the end of a WoW expansion so I'm not fucking bored out of my mind. If GW2 had moved up to July release I'm sure 5.0.4 would drop that same day. It's a business decision, but I feel like it fucks the customer over that want to play both. Thank god GW2 doesn't have as nasty of a gear grind.
