Wow, that was a hard ass fight. I wiped like 7 or more times and I respected my tank to Holy. To be honest it was more of an equipment problem than anything. I could avoid the arcane explosion really easily, the flame wreath was blood lust DPS time, but the Blizzard... i just had to take the dmg.
When I killed him I only had 3 guys standing. But he's dead. :)
Kinda upset that he dropped a hunter helmet and a dps neck. ;(
Damn.. now that's impressive. Next to Netherspite & the infenals at Prince, that was probably the 3rd hardest fight in Kara due to the movement..
Amazing job, You've raised the bar for us all, that's just amazing work. Congrats mate.
Thanks so much for the support!
I had to try the Chess event twice.

On my way to the prince.
I'll be interested in how you do prince. I used to tank him on the far wall where a notch was on the far corner from the entrance, and the raid would stand on the far wall near the building, we had a really low chance of getting infernals that would interfere that way. Then , a couple patches ago, it all changed and when we tried it , we would get infernals that would drop right on my spot, and the raids spot. It seems blizz wants it to be a fight where you need to move the raid around. However, we were able to do basically the same thing at the door. Raid stands in the door, tank on the wall just down from the door, seems like a perfect multi-box set up where all your dps is ranged from the door, we hardly ever got infernals there, so it might be worth a shot starting from there. PS, good luck, I know as far as infernals go, you'll need it. Doubt you will need it skill wise, looks like you have that under control :)
Couple questions on Aran I'm curious about. Did you interrupt his spell casts at all? If so, did you have a special rotation or something to do it, or do you do what I do when I three box the fight and simply spam Earthshock and assume that one of your shamans is between casts at the moment? (That works a lot better than I expected it to) Also, how did you avoid his AOE CS. I have a problem where I'm the highest aggro in my raid when I have all three of my shamans together, so he occasionally will run over to melee me when he's locked out of schools (or even when he's not sometimes. Or at least I don't think he is) and I have to move my whole group and turn them again to face him.
One last thing, have you ever had one of your characters set off the flame wreath while not moving? I had that happen once, while they were on follow, but all three of us had stopped moving long before the flame wreath casted, and it still set it off somehow. So I have taken to just tapping my formation key just enough to break follow and I haven't seen the problem recur since. Or it could have just been a fluke I suppose.
