The first guild my friends and I formed was named <Paladins are Gay>
It actually took a few months before someone reported it and it was disbanded. We were surprised it lasted as long as it did.
reporters need to burn, and concentrate on something that actually matters.
I've never had a name reported, but a guild I was in got reported and force name changed. I guess 'Child Fantasy' is inappropriate, heh. A college buddy leveled a rogue to 70 in BC with the name Jizrag reported (his nickname irl, sounds very very close to his last name spelled backwards), but his other char Waginas never got reported that I know of.
If it were up to me I'd make the naming policy much stricter. I hate extended ascii characters in names and all the grey area ones like 'stabstabdead' (34 in the armory) or 'smokeweed' (59 in the armory) or 'pallytank' (114 in the armory -.-)
Why? And no, I wouldn't. Pedophil is a fictional character... not real... no threat to anyone as far as I know. This game is violent and, at times, sexually suggestive, but that is overlooked by people that have an axe to grind. It's amazing to me how people can apply morals to only part of the game and conveniently disassociate their morals from the rest of the game. It seems to me that people that are offended by screen names in this game, probably shouldn't be playing the game. What about what's happening on the rest of the screen? Shouldn't they find that offensive too? .... I'm actually more afraid of those people. That's just my opinion though.
Dear blizzard,
if you're reading this, I'll gladly forget anything bad I ever said about you for a Cataclysm beta invite. yes, you still own my soul.
