But did play pencil and paper Dungeons and Dragons, which is fun too.
Just had a short session with WoW yesterday. Recorded a video of me doing Drak'tharon Keep, spent forever trying to fiddle with Adobe Premier...but I think I got it now :P
Leveled my team from 33 to 35...
I'll reach 80 sooner or later... :P
Got my ass served in the quest: Ring of Blood.... BC - Nagrand ( I think the zone is called).
Wiped a few times until I got some macros setup. Still can't beat the last dude though... that chain lightning really hurts and my tank looses aggro and my team gets killed.
Did some more quest and almost gained a lvl.
Did my dailies and did my rare mount farming lockouts. No luck on any of the mounts yet :(
Got to 300+/1000 needed for the remaining 9 Argent Tournament Mounts. Up to 92/100 mounts for the 100 mount achievement. 95 if I use the seals. I broke the less-than-100 Marks of Honor requirement for the last two PvP mounts, too. Just have 90, or so, more to go. I'm getting tired of losing BGs, though, I'll tell you what. haha
Edit: Oh! And due to me being tired of losing all the time in BGs, I worked on macros for my priest team and leveled them up to 5, just for fun. :P
My 76 team are currently doing the MINDNUMBING collection quests in Zul'drak.
Having to collect 3x3 water links per toon with a 25% droprate, then to collect 3 elem fluids... this is insane as to how many crazed water elementals I have to kill..
It was definitely loads of fun to ride the Storm King though.
I abused Gundrak before and after the reset.
It was enough to grab the t8.5 helm for my priest. Only a few more for my mage and lock.
Finally took my 5 man team into an instance for the first time.
The pally hadn't actively quested or run an instance other than a boost since early this year, idle at 61 for eons.
The shammies I finished their RAF last December (making my raiding main late to 80 and Naxx), then picked them up for a day or two every few months, got them to 64.
Have slowly built the pieces in game and out of game to make it go, between xp heirlooms on the pally to very crude hacking up of the ISBoxer wizard output to use focus based, to even some significant hardware updates (8GB memory, Win7, tie in old monitor to go dual monitor).
Result? A lot of learning, some dying, but damn it felt good to finally be doing it for real. I still have a lot to learn, some macros to revise (need a formation macro badly).
Belagrim, Kinesia, Kinecia, Kinetia, and Kinezia went into Ramps and cleared up to the final boss in one sitting, inefficiently, clumsily, but they did. They brute forced it more than anything else, such as when Gargolmar wasn't quite out of range and the solo pull brought him too, killed the solo, ended up focused on Gargolmar, wanting to swap targs to get the healers down, then realizing that my totems and the chain lightning must have gotten them.
Yes L64 is over-level but dammit I'm a real 5 man boxer now, and it feels friggin great. Now to do many more runs of anything that amuses me and get to Northrend and beyond.
Yesterday (Nov 15th).
The spacegirls ran their dailies.
And my auction toon scanned the AH.
Rather exciting, I know.
Did a bunch of work on a guide to IS Boxer too.
Seldum - If your tank is a pally, you can cast Hand of Protection at your targets target, to force even a taunt immune mob to get off of someone. A spread out macro will alleviate the chain lightning issue a lot.
Sunday: completed Deadmines finally... wiped on Smite and Vancleef but the priest was soulstoned (for Vancleef) so there was no corpse run needed thank god.
Monday: started running BFD, was going great until my arm started aching and giving me shit and I wasnt as quick on the buttons as I should have been and wiped a fair few times so I cracked the sads, did a couple of quests and called a night of it.
Tonight, I am planning on getting some glyphs for the boys and girls and the going to SFK for my pally's quest weapon.
