i was sitting in queue for 2+ hours yesterday for the server (prob since i dont have toons there, and it was letting people skip)
so i just gave up... o-well
Yeah we recently had a bunch of stupid BT/Hyjal raiding guilds transfer over and flood the server's population, giving us a login queue the last 2 weeks most nights + killing the ping on weekends. Though I've only seen queues of 130 at worst, 8minutes to get in lol guess it's shorter for those of us with chars there already
lol my "main" is from mag but since shes stuck on alli i dont play her much their all emo %@*#! so i tend to play horde quite a bit, leveling my 5(now 4) horde on Dalvengyr then buying new accounts and heading back to Mag to teach the reatrds on mag some lessons :P
as for Xin.. ur a p.i.t.a to kill lol, i remember you chasing me all over AB Pre-BC
P.S Eteo d.i.a.f you copycat!
lol hi Unk ;p
Im trying to contact some one on horde, mag.. I an new to five boxing, and would love to find a group over there. Any one on tonight i could contact? :)
Hello,
I just started Dual-boxing over the weekend. Took all weekend to get keyclone and macros set up. Figure I will stick with dual-boxing for awhile until i get the hang of it.
I am new to this server and to the Horde. Rolled Alliance at release, I have since gotten tired of Alliance whinners and the immature atmosphere and always wished I would have rolled Horde from the beginning. Now I have a reason to start over  .
I would love to join a guild where I could be among fellow dual-boxers. If there is anyone i could contact in-game tonight please let me know.
My Current Dual-Box chars are:
My toon's names are: Danuus (BE Mage) and Petr (BE Hunter)
However I am looking into an UD Priest\Lock Combo.
Thanks,
Steven
Has anybody noticed that mag is now a "locked" server.
To be honest, I have no idea what that really means, but when I rerolled here a few weeks ago it was still at medium population. I may have caught it at an odd time, or... the zerg wound up bringing a ton of people here though the constant attention we multiboxers are getting.
anyone think we should all server transfer to a low pop realm and just take over?
The high-pop is because a bunch of tards transferred over a couple weeks ago. It sucks at times having to sit in a queue, though the longest I've had to wait in queue was about 8 minutes (enough time to fix a TV dinner).
As for transferring to a new server, it sounds fun but who would you fight? We'd gank the crap out of most people there.
Is there any room left in "The Zerg" for a new multi-boxer?
If so, who do I contact?
If no, is there any other multi-boxing guilds on this server?
Thanks,
Oathbreaker or Stealthy in game for invites.Quote:

I'll get in contact with peeps from the guild when I can. Haven't played horde in over a year but started out on PVP servers back in the day. Still have fond memories of having my 30+ priest get ganked by 4 alliance chumps. Its pay back time.
Damnit, less horde more alliance! =\
So is the Aliiance guild on Mag "The Zerg Too"? :)
No, "The Zerg Wannabees" :P
There isn't one as far as I know, I'm the only one on alliance I know of beyond Unk/Fancyz it seems and most of his real multiboxers're on another server lol; quite a few interested but none have started yet
Is it worth it to get onto Mag now? Is the queue long?
I have some Horde chars I wouldn't mind transferring over (incl. a 60 priest). But, if I'm going to have to wait in line, I probably won't transfer :(
I haven't had a queue this week, but I've been very sporadic in my logins.
I do not support any more non-Alliance Transfers ;p The lines aren't too long(10min wait at worst?) and usually just at night, or weekends
personally, i dont think mag is a server worth xfering to in the 1st place (im alrdy on it sorta) but it can be over populated by idiots (alli side) and its known for having lots of "Hardware" issues but it could just be blizz tryn to save a couple $
as for horde, im not sure its been a while since i had my 60 lock (pre-bc) and my multiple other little alts
1st - how many alliance (or horde) servers AREN'T populated, at least in part, by idiots?
2nd - I have noticed no hardware problems on Mag that made me think in any way that the server was broken or down in any way any more than other servers.
Also, we now have a new Vent Server -AND- guild forums, both private and public.
^^^^ What he said. I can't tell any difference between here and Turalyon (Medium pop PVE server) in terms of lag, stability, etc. Only thing different is there is more horde in Org. /shrugQuote:

I have never heard about Bliz "losing" any characters - let alone any on Mag..... if you mean logging on to a blank character select screen - I can assure you that has happened on pretty much EVERY server and is not a symptom of "losing" characters but rather one of the character/login/game servers being temporarily down.
Unless you can substantiate your claims, I kindly ask that you stop spreading FUD about Mag. It is the same as any other server out there in terms of hardware stability.
Ok, sounds like it's no worse off than the old bleeding hollow :)
I logged in about 7pm or so and there was no queue... so that doesn't seem bad?
The worst problem I've seen/heard of with Mag is the queues, and those appear to be a very recent development. Mostly thanks to a few BT raiding guilds
it happened like a year ago, everyone on the server lost their character, it was around 10 server total --.--
but w/e im not here to fight / argue so well end this :)
Ok, got my 60 priest transferred over.
I'll be setting up my 5 accounts over the holidays...
I've never had a problem logging into Mag, both in peak and off peak times. I originally played on Blackrock where queues we a way of life. Trust me when I say Mag is a great server to roll on. :)
Yeah, I had a 5 minute queue one time, but, that's it so far.Quote:

are you guys still offering to take new people? I didnt read all 16 pages, but I am thinking about rolling some new 4 warlocks, mainly for twink PvP for the moment, i JUST finished rolling my 4 shamans (alliance, or Id xfer lol)
I plan to get them to 39 or so, and then twink a bit until i feel like doing the3 week monumental 70 grind again lol.
There is always room for Zerg-o.
TYVM for the invite Zyrex, cant wait to level up and play around with y'all
Xzin,
If you have room some more I would love to join. Currently 2 and 3 box. I would love to roll up some characters and join the guild if you guys are still accepting new people.
Thanks,
