Anyone going to Blizcon 2008?

My boyfriend and I are planning to attend if we can get the money! :) :) I am so excited because this will be our first Blizzcon :D Not sure what I'm going to do for a costume... if someone makes a dual-boxing shirt I'd so wear that bc it saves me from having to make a costume :P I could just pretend I'm a belf in normal clothes lol bc I'm white enough, just gotta ignore the freckles >_>

And lucky us, we live in Riverside, CA so it's about a 30min drive, woo! :D

I live roughly 90 min away in San Diego so my wife and I will definitly be going.

Hopefully children are free since we are bringing the rugrat along too.

So tickets are on sale August 11th... I just put in for my vaction to last until Oct. 6th, if I score a ticket I'll try to get an extra week off.

I'm so excited to go back to the US. Haven't been home in almost two years. What a treat that would be to be able to go to Blizz Con.

So how do I buy tickets? Just wait up Sunday night and when it's Midnight Sunday night (monday morning PST) buy with my credit card? If anyone can let me know how you've gotten your tickets before in the past I'd be thankful for the advice.

Gonna have my credit card in hand spamming refresh over and over at midnight . I totally don't want to miss the tickets because they sold out >_>

Anybody got any ideas for a mb shirt ? I think we should all kinda have a sort of theme going for all the people from this community that will be attending. at least for the first day :)

I was planning on going.. then I decided to buy a house.. damnit!

Might buy a ticket in hopes some money frees up.. I doubt it but at least I can admire my ticket..

I’d like to go, never been to one. If I asked my wife to go with me, she would agree to it. But if there are people dressed up like different things she will make fun of me for the rest of my life. She makes fun of me for playing these games, and I make fun of her for watching avatar. I even bought her a Wizard she can put on to watch it haha (she didn’t appreciate the joke as much as I’d hoped).
Also as a trade off for going with me I’d have to go to a rush concert or some music thing with a male singer that sounds like a woman, another example would be the group Yes. Both of which make my stomach turn at the thought.

The only thing that could make me go is if there was Gnome punting to offset the aftermath.

Edit: Can;t anyway I'm imaging 350 computers that week :( I did want to go and was considering on asking her :)

Fixing to book hotel for 3 nights thurs thru sunday. Probably gonna nerd out with one of the Tshirts too......
