Unable to destroy Sam Deathwalker (yet)

Ok thats 63,000 or so per hour aoeing the pirates at level 44 (thats in a group of FIVE) so thats 64K X 5 per hour, at level 44.



So 3,379,400 / 20 = 168k per hour is kinda hard to compare to. First off thats for 4 characters not 5, I mean the booster has to be in the group right? And there is no way to tell what the average per hour is at around the levels 40 or so. Can you tell how many mobs you are able to aoe in a 12 mintue run? That might help us a bit.

I do quests, its not like I don't, and as Zeb has stated if you going to farm mob X why not do the quest that goes with killing mob X, thats resonable for sure.

Thats not resonable, my guys stand around while one does Trade skills ... their total online time has nothing to do with how much exp they get.

Well am I pissed. My raf is gone, before I could do the grants.

Its started on 12-9-08 and ended on 3-8-09. How is that 90 days.

If raf was one day and started on 12-9-08 then it would end on 12-10-08.

If it was 30 days and a 30 day month then 12-9-08 would end on 1-9-09.

As Feb is 28 days that makes up for Jan and Dec being 31 days (each average 30 days). So if I started on 12-9-08 I should end on 3-9-09 .... at midnight ...

Bah well the only good thing is that this game is so easy to level compared to EQ that it dosnt really matter.

Ok so I got umm 18, 15, 15, 15, 14 and 10 mages well doh. Well rats.

So I lost about 50 - 60 granting levels well hummm rats. Lucky I used up all the grants on the other 20 accounts .....


Looks like I need to raf for the 3rd time now.

Ok I have umm 25 shaman say level 45 and 6 mages level 15 say and 1 pal. Gonna drop one shaman so I have 6 groups of 1mage4shaman each, and the Pal.

Battlechest is $25 say. And one month free is like $15 so say new accounts cost $10 effectivly but $25 to transfer is the real cost is $35 for raf. Of course I dont have that many levels to go seems $35 is a waste for only 15 levels.

Lets see Ill umm raf the mages accounts for sure.

Maybe it finished exactly 90 days after, i.e at whatever time you started it, instead of midnight?
or is it Server midnight or something?

i remember reading a post (from Vyndree iirc) about her losing a day or half a day with the same granting issue. And the blizz tech support guy had it wrong or something.

That sucks of course but I'm sure you'll find a way to spin it so you can further convince yourself of your own greatness if not you aren't half as delusional as you appear to be. For instance you can tell yourself "Sam(yes I picture you referring to yourself in the third person even in your private thoughts), you are so great you can throw RAF levels away not once but twice! Who else can say that? You truly are da man".

Seriously though a guy as bad at math as yourself should probably have played it safe and used the grants a couple days earlier then your adding skills would indicate they were to expire.

Forget the RAF, it's going to take you a decade to level anyway you might as well save some money.

I guess it is like umm the time you started it. Well I down on 6 accounts, best get my 24 hours in on my others I guess at least get some flight paths. At least I bound 3 mages in shatt and working on the 4th. Well its not bad math I just checked the emails from when I made the accounts and they were around the 16th, I forgot there was a week delay from when I made the accounts and he transfered the characters to the new accounts (might get CS to cut me some slack there who knows), so I did plan to do the transfers days ahead. Well at least the other 20 acocunts did all their grants thank goodness.

I dont know is 10 levels worth $35?

No matter how you slice it its a lose but small compared to overall picture. How long will it take to get 4 guys from 15-45, thats basically the loss. One week, two tops.

Another example of sam ignoring the community's experience - getting screwed out of raf grants happened to me and others and there was lenghty threads and warnings about it. congrats for ignoring it / not researching it - it's true that 2 RAFsx26 isn't worth 5 mins of search/reading (like End of RAF checklist & when exactly does it end ?).

Now please answer the /played time please (yes I know there is a lot of idle time included but I'm interested in it anyway)

Random questions, in addition to the answer about your /played on your lowest level shammy:

If you're not boosting what use is a single pally to your 26 man team - it's not like you need a tank to aggro any mob coming in contact that should get 1 shot by the shamans anyway...?

What uses are the 5/6 mages ? (I guess 1 mage for ports would be useful(*) but more ? why not other classes if you're changing and want to learn... ie 1 of each instead of 6 mages... seems random)

Pal is 21 days 10 hours. I'd say like 10 days of that is killing mobs and leveling.

I am still unsure if I am doing a 2nd raf on the shammies. I will get 6 new raf accounts for the Mages. but 25 more new accounts for the shammies and the pal, not sure as only 15 levels to go. I figure that going to 31 accounts puts me a bit closer to Prepared so I dont have to get as much gear as I would otherwise have to.

The Pal is a tank for PvE. You cant do boss mobs without a real tank.

My weakness right now is the ability to hit targets from beyond 36 yards. If enemy moves into LB range, thats good, into shock range, even better and into totems and ws range better yet. Basically the closer people get the better for me (and moreso when I get thunderstorm). With 6 mages I can at least put in a dent in someone at 41 yards (with the right talents). And haveing one porter in each group will really help getting around the world. And mages pack a punch for sure, and I didnt want to goof around with pets with a warlock. Also with a mage in each group I dont run into the no exp for killing with only totems problem, without redoing groups. Also I can pull at 41 yards with a mage ....

I thought I had untill the 16th so It would not even be an issue. The 16th is when he moved my guys to the new accounts.


Another way to compare is to consider that consecration does 924 HP of damage at its max level.

The level 32 fire nova totem does about 200HP of damage.

Would you rather have the damage output of 1 Level 80 Pal or 20 level 32 shaman to help you aoe mobs while leveling?
