How's Everyone Progressing so Far and What's Your Group Comp?

Here is a trick for looting.

Create a hotkey that sends IWT. Bind it to say, W. Go into your wow keybinds, and bind Interact on Mouse Over to W.

Now you can stand there, mouse over the corpse and hit W. Your minions will trundle over and loot without you having to target. I prefer it to targeting and then mashing IWT.

the biggest issue is the positioning for cleave and the wonky IWT that sometimes sends you off to god knows where

and Pre level 30 or i would say 36 its very hard to keep aggro on all since you lack AOE

Cleave is good but when u got 4-5 mobs hitting on you

you end up having to heal alot and causing healing threat

the AOE threat just isnt there in the lowerlevels for warriors

and since you dont have mages etc you cant poly/cc targets which makes ranged monsters a real pain

Melee cleave works great i believe after 36 with sweeping, and whirlwind
and if IWT wasnt so wonky

but pre that its very painful

Changed gears and went druid tank, priest heals, and 3 mages, all around lvl 15 now. The arcane explosion AoE from the mages melts mobs at level when you run them into a group in Westfall.

Cleave hits targets near what you hit. Positioning doesn't matter. I figured this out recently. Also, get the EMA boxing mod. Enable strobing for your warriors that persists in combat. Disable it in combat for your healer. This is a situation of 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. Strobing makes your positioning more problematic because your minions will constantly turn to face you, however, it prevents the IWT running off like morons issue.

With strobing on, your minions will turn to hit the target everytime you use an IWT keypress however, so, if you spam your attack without regard for saving up rage, you will turn constantly to hit with your auto attacks.

I WAS driving with healer, but I switched to this system, and it works much much better and is much more enjoyable.

Can you use this and still use W to move forward? This sounds interesting but I'm not sure exactly what you mean. When you say create a hotkey do u mean go into keybinds and bind W to IWT, or write a macro for it. Do you use this on your main, your slaves, or both?

I'm sorry I'm kinda slow, but it seems like there a few steps missing. How can you have IWT, Interact with mouse over, and a movement key all one keybind (W)?


I know im grilling you with questions but as someone who still has alot of kinks in his multibox team I'm desperate to clean things up. Especially group Interaction, movement, looting etc.

I'll definitely try that myself too, thanks. Giving 4 warriors a shot.

I am super slow, only hit 16 x 5 today (2 pallies, 2 locks (1 demo 1 affli), 1 arcane mage)
(my excuse is I spend more time coding and testing addons... and enjoying AH and professions)

But with my mage getting arcane explosion I basically spam heal the mage while she arcane explodes stuff and that makes quite a nice xp boost on some camps in westfall (the other dps and the tank being sort of useless in that configuration, outside of buffs etc)

Hit level 21 with Druid 4xshams. I am under geared and under level in instances on my first attempt, so just being more patient. Working to tweak gear a bit to be more effective in instances. Cleared RFC at about 12? and half of WC at 18. The collection quests are so insane... I never boxed vanilla, started in BC. So nice to feel the burn :D

so i got EMA now i have a question how do i move the EMA team window i cant see a option to unlock and move it to a better location

nvm figured out how to move it with alt

Just got my paladin, Warlock, Mage to level 17. I rerolled on a more populated server and this time I seem to level about twice as fast as the 5 man team I was lugging around since launch. Took about 2 12 hr days for me.

Kinda damned if you do, damned of you don't, as I couldn't find a group to run Deadmines on my 3 toons, so I logged off. Really wishing at this point I had a whole 5 man team, but after leveling them to 14 on another server I couldn't bear to go through that again. It was so mundane. With how much I've played if I was on a single char Id be up there in levels.

I'm gonna start 2 more characters, get them a few levels, and park them @ Stormwind for bank and professions. Maybe if I can't find any groups tomorrow after a fresh start I'll level those 2 and finish out the 5 man team. Now that there's somewhat of an economy I can always buy quest mats on the AH, and that would speed leveling up on them for sure.
